North Crest RV Park, Waco, Texas

Date of Stay: January, 2018 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed for 2 nights and we are so glad we opted to stay here vs. the place to the north. The manager is one of the friendliest, most helpful park operators I have ever come across in my 20 plus years of Rving! He is over the top nice! We were met at the service road entrance and guided to our site. He even offered to help with our hookups---WOW! This is not a huge park and that's a good thing! The spaces are well separated with lots of shade trees and most if not all have new concrete pads as well as concrete areas to park your tow vehicle. The shower rooms were very clean and we had plenty of hot water. The park is located close (15 min or less) to area attractions. Our site had digital cable available but we didn't use it. Also available was Time-Warner Wifi which was usable for the most part with no big issues. Although it wasn't really an issue inside our coach, some may be put off by the highway noise coming from I-35. We will definitely stay here again!! We camped at North Crest RV Park in a Motorhome.

I-35 RV Park, Elm Mott, Texas

Date of Stay: December, 2017 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

This is an older park and needs a complete make-over. Most of the tenants here are long term. There are a few ran down, junky RV's on property that are an eyesore. Spaces are mostly level but are dirt and when it rains your coach will be muddy inside and out. Did I mention the spaces are very tight?? Advertised "free" breakfast is free, as long as you aren't guilt tripped into giving a donation. If it's truly free, included in the price, why are you asking for me to pay via donation?? To be fair, if easy of access is key for you, the park is very easy to get too just off of the service road to I-35. Of course that means there is significant road noise as well. Overall in my opinion this was probably a nice place 20 years ago, but just adequate now. I won't be back. We camped at I-35 RV Park in a Motorhome.
