After seeing our rv spot, we asked to change location. We were placed in the front area of the park which was fairly nice. After being there two nights, the office called and wanted to know why he hadn't checked in. We told her we were there already and the spot. She said there was no way we were supposed to be in that spot and was very rude! She said she needed to talk to mgr. He called us while we were out and said he'd left a letter. We stopped at the office and the mgr was very rude and told us we had to move out of that spot. He gave us a choice and we picked the best one. It was in the other area of the park that is full of long term people- seniors and the other group being very rough. Most of the park models are very old with trash and junk piled around them. The spaces were tight. We walked our dogs one day and when this dog came running out of a yard not on a leash. The owner grabbed her dog and we asked her about having him on a leash, which is a park rule. She started cursing at us using the f bombs repeatedly. She went nuts! After that encounter we decided to leave the park early and head to our next destination. I do not recommend this park at all. The staff desperately need training in customer service and they need to clean it up. They treated us like dirt and implied that we had purposely parked in the wrong spot- which is not true. We were following their directions. If you are a member of Thousand Trails, they stick you in the nasty part of the park - so beware! We camped at Encore Sunshine Holiday Daytona RV Resort in a Motorhome.
