Sleepy Hollow Farm Campground, Oshkosh, Wisconsin

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $39.00
Overall Rating:

This is a good park for attending nearby events. It's close to the EAA Museum which is a must see. The site we were in was a grass site that was not level at all. The interior roads were gravel/dirt and quite rough. Satellite TV in our spot was non-existent for roof mount or portable dish. OTA TV was good and T-Mobile phone was good. No park internet available. We camped at Sleepy Hollow Farm Campground in a Motorhome.

River Park Campground, Menominee, Michigan

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Beautiful city owned park, staff was very helpful and courteous. As mentioned in previous reviews they do not accept credit/debit cards, cash and checks only. There are a lot of mature trees so satellite TV is hit or miss, we just found the right spot and got lucky. The only thing missing was a patio, only had soft grass to step onto. We camped at River Park Campground in a Motorhome.

Bay Mills RV Park, Brimley, Michigan

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $39.00
Overall Rating:

Nice park across the street from their casino with several restaurants, sports bar and nightclub. The casino overlooks the shore of Lake Superior. Our phone reception (T-Mobile), Wi-Fi and park cable were all excellent. I say there was some shade because you could stand under some the the tree and be in the shade, but not enough to shade the RV. Sewer connection was too far below the surface to securely connect my screw in connector. Check in was quick and we picked our spot from the ones that were open. We camped at Bay Mills RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Just a short hop (15 miles) to Sault Ste. Marie and the Canadian border. Crossing the border was easy both ways with no difficulties. Soo Locks visitor center is free and well worth the visit. There is a three tier viewing area to see the ships enter the lock and leveled up or down to the different levels.

Eden Springs Park and Campground, Benton Harbor, Michigan

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $41.00
Overall Rating:

Nice place for a short stay. Not a lot of amenities at the park. T-mobile phone service was good, in park internet service was great. OTA TV got 2 channels and satellite service was not available due to trees. They did charge a one time fee of $5 for a "pet fee". We camped at Eden Springs Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

Camp Carlson Army Recreational Area (Military FamCamp), Muldraugh, Kentucky

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $19.00
Overall Rating:

Great place to stay when visiting Fort Knox families. There were a lot of RV's that look like they have been there a while even though there's a 90 day stay limit. There was continuous artillery fire starting at daybreak, so our dog wasn't happy during our stay. Phone service was iffy at best, no internet at all. We camped at Camp Carlson Army Recreational Area (Military FamCamp) in a Motorhome.

Longhorn RV Resort, Niederwald, Texas

Date of Stay: May, 2018 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

This park is nice and well kept. Mostly long term residents with spotty overnight spots. The streets could use some repair. The pavilion on the lake is nice with fishing areas. There are a lot of cars and trucks parked in the street making it difficult to navigate with a large RV. Pool and groups recreation area is nice. Our site would have been better if we would have had a patio and picnic table. We camped at Longhorn RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Nice park, all spots located closed to the water. Great nature trail with a brochure explaining different sightings, lots of wild blueberries. Our site was level once getting past the ramp and dragging our tow bar. Great staff and crew. The sewer system was available after being reported out of service in previous reviews. Twelve Oaks RV Resort, Sanford, Florida

Date of Stay: February, 2018 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed for a week while visiting with family. The roads in the park were narrow and heavily treed but we did not have a problem in our 36 foot motorhome. Our site was large with a large concrete patio and picnic table. Most residents were full permanent residents with the unoccupied sites going to the transients. The staff was extremely helpful and courteous. We would definitely stay there again when in the area. We camped at Twelve Oaks RV Resort in a Motorhome.
