River Edge Resort, Alberton, Montana

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

No room in Missoula but glad we are here. Just off the highway and adjacent to Clark Fork River. Big pine trees and restaurant, bar and casino. What more could you want! Small park with 12 sites but had room for our 45 ft motorhome. Verizon cell phone great. No Satellite due to mountain and trees but over the air had Missoula stations. We camped at River Edge Resort in a Motorhome.

Missouri Valley City Park, Missouri Valley, Iowa

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

Looks like most of park is closed. We are in 45' motorhome towing and we are next to a really old motorhome and old trailer on the road. Yes - we have 50 amp and water so I will give you that. There are also two tents and a rock band warming up. It is just cheap which is the good thing. Most of the park is NOT open and it is June 21. Even on the street there are temporarily closed sites due to police sign. Don't bother to call to find a site. The phone answerer has no idea unless there is "an event" at the park. We camped at Missouri Valley City Park in a Motorhome.

Indian Lakes Campground, Wolcottville, Indiana

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Tough for 45ft rigs. Mostly, in fact, almost all seasonal trailers. We got one of the few spots with 50 amps. Took "creative" backing. We are here for 13 nights. Swimming in the lake available. Would not recommend this park for short term but nice spot for long term. We camped at Indian Lakes Campground in a Motorhome.

Crazy Horse Campground, Ashland, Illinois

Date of Stay: May, 2018 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

We are towing in 45 ft motorhome. This place is 8 miles off the highway BUT has swimming hole, putt putt golf. Most are seasonal but beautiful area arrived for Friday night stay. Half price ice cream, large was over a pint and Saturday breakfast for $5. Almost stayed for bouncy house and seed spitting contest at 2pm. Very friendly host. Would have rated higher if not 8 miles down narrow well paved road. Worth staying more than night. We camped at Crazy Horse Campground in a Motorhome.

StoneRidge Golf and Recreational Community, Blanchard, Idaho

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed at 7 Eagle Way. Landscaped with water feature, small cabin next to common area on passenger side. Excellent dog park, pool & spa, golf course and pickleball. Very friendly owners. 45 minutes from Sandpoint and same to Coeur d'Alene. WiFi in clubhouse and Verizon tower 1/2 mile away. Sadly no ATT, but we have Verizon which worked great. Will be back. Adult summer camp is what the owners call this spot! We camped at StoneRidge Golf and Recreational Community in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Sandpoint was rated the most beautiful small town in America. Coeur d'Alene has the floating green, 43 mile long Lake Pend Orielle is near. Gorgeous area to hike and explore. Schweizer ski resort for mountain biking, hiking AND incredible views of the lake.
