Sawnee COE, Cumming, Georgia

Date of Stay: April, 2018 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

We booked and paid for our site online. There was no one at the gatehouse but we knew our site number and parked there. Beautiful sites and gorgeous views on the lake. Sites have water and electric. There is a good dump station on your way out. Sites are clean and well maintained with concrete pads for the Rv. Roads are paved. We loved this park and would definitely recommend! We camped at Sawnee COE in a Motorhome.

Jude Travel Park, New Orleans, Louisiana

Date of Stay: March, 2018 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

This park is basically in a train yard, in an urban area. Although there was a gate on the property we did not feel safe there. We heard trains hooking up and leaving the yard all night long. There were many full time residents there, who seemed to be questionable characters. The pool was so dirty that I wouldn't have bathed a dog in it. We had planned to stay here longer but left early to check into another RV park on the other side of New Orleans. We camped at Jude Travel Park in a Motorhome.

Oasis RV Resort, Amarillo, Texas

Date of Stay: March, 2018 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

Beautifully laid out park. Hookups are excellent - best we've ever seen in all our travels. Large sites with nice picnic tables. Many bath/shower facilities throughout the park. The fitness room needs attention, as most of the equipment has not been set up correctly and not maintained. There is no bathroom/shower available near the fitness room. The closest bathrooms are near the spa but they are all closed during this season. The laundry room was clean with good washers and dryers. The clubhouse looks really nice but it was all locked up during our stay. Close to the highway but the noise isn't extreme. This is a large park set in a field, with very few small trees. The RVs are all exposed to the elements, including high winds. I would recommend this park to anyone. It must be really nice in the summer months. We camped at Oasis RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Cable and wifi were very good. The posts for the hookup are very visible and lit up at night, with the lot number easily located on each one.

Hacienda RV Resort, Las Cruces, New Mexico

Date of Stay: March, 2018 - $46.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here 6 nights while visiting the Las Cruces area. The park is clean and sites are spacious. All the sites have a privacy wall on the side where your door opens. The laundry room is clean and the machines work very well. Showers are small but very clean. I would have rated it higher but they don't have a pool. They only have a hot tub available. I would recommend this park to anyone. We camped at Hacienda RV Resort in a Motorhome.

May's Cafe Motel and RV Park, Cornudas, Texas

Date of Stay: March, 2018 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

RV folks - Beware This place also goes by the name Cornudas Cafe, Motel and RV Park. We didn't eat at the cafe. You couldn't have paid us to eat there, judging from the looks of the place. The "motel" building is crumbling. The RV park consists of 6 sites with "full hookup". We were desparate for a place to stay for 2 nights somewhere between Carlsbad and El Paso. Since there were no other options, we decided to stay for 2 nights and thanked God that our motorhome is self-contained. Of the 6 sites, only 2 had the proper ground orientation on the power connections. We couldn't park on one of those 2 sites because it was mostly blocked off by a large prickly pear cactus. The only usable site was in front of the "restrooms" - 2 outhouses which collected sewage in 5 gallon buckets. There was a water hookup but signs saying that the water was unpotable. We had to press the owner to provide us with a gallon of water from the store in the cafe. There are several buildings that may have people living in them - we were unsure. Most of the buildings on the property are in disrepair and the entire place is unsavory. The sad part of this story is that we were charged $35 a night - about the same rate that we have previously paid in other really nice RV parks. We would not recommend this place to anyone! We camped at May's Cafe Motel and RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

The location of this place is fantastic, as there are no RV parks at all in that area. If the owner cared to improve this place, it could be a good RV park.

Alliance Hill 50 Plus RV Resort, Marianna, Florida

Date of Stay: February, 2018 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Very clean, well kept grounds and facilities. This is one Good Sam park that lives up to it's ratings. Beautiful new cement pads are level. The WiFi was excellent and OTA tv was great. The clubhouse is A+. Very tasteful decor and clean as a whistle. The bathrooms, showers and laundry room were spotless. The pool is quite small but very nice and clean. It is a gated park and someone was there to welcome us and lead us to our site. Would definitely come back here. We camped at Alliance Hill 50 Plus RV Resort in a Motorhome.

White Springs RV Park, White Springs, Florida

Date of Stay: February, 2018 - $10.00
Overall Rating:

We were greeted by the owner who guided us into our pull-thru site. She was extremely friendly and cheerful. She felt like an old friend! They recently bought this park and are in the process of updating it. There are no bathrooms or showers right now. Not a problem for us since we use our own. Sites are usually $20 a night but our site only had water and power so she charged us only $10. There is a dump station available. Beautiful wooded property has great potential. It's an excellent stopover on our way in or out of the panhandle. Would highly recommend for an overnight or longer stay. We camped at White Springs RV Park in a Motorhome.

Exceptionally clean and well maintained. The RV lots are kind of tight but no worse than other RV parks. Staff was helpful and friendly. Many different activities are offered and people are very welcoming to travelers. We camped at Riverside RV Resort & Campground in a Motorhome.
