Cottonwood RV Camp, Idaho Springs, Colorado

Date of Stay: July, 2010 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Nice grounds but owners were not very friendly. Also, there are no restrooms available, units must be self-contained. It's like you are camping in someone's yard. We camped at Cottonwood RV Camp in a Motorhome.

Yosemite RV Resort, RVC Outdoor Destination (formerly Yosemite South , Coarsegold, California

Date of Stay: July, 2007 - $65.00
Overall Rating:

This park was formerly called "Yosemite South Ranch" and was a Reynolds Resort. Looks like it has been taken over by KOA and needs some work. The swimming pool was great, the sites have full hookups including cable (11 channels), and WiFi ($$). This may be a great park someday but at $65 is way overpriced. Campground is mostly dirt, dry brush and several shade trees. Some of the amenities are being worked on and not available for use. Will not return to this park. We camped at Yosemite RV Resort, RVC Outdoor Destination (formerly Yosemite South in a Travel Trailer.

Reno KOA at Boomtown, Verdi, Nevada

Date of Stay: July, 2007 - $39.00
Overall Rating:

I would give this rv park a higher rating except that there is a lot of construction going on next to it. This campground was recently converted to a KOA and the new owners are very nice. When the construction is finished, this could be a great place to stay. We camped at Reno KOA at Boomtown in a Travel Trailer.

Yellowstone Grizzly RV Park, West Yellowstone, Montana

Date of Stay: July, 2007 - $48.00
Overall Rating:

Great campground with a convenient location. The grounds are beautiful with paved roads, paved campsites with a grass area at each campsite. Located in the town of West Yellowstone you are close to groceries, restaurants, IMAX theater, and it is only one mile to the west entrance. The only drawback is that the trees are still young and there is not much shade. I highly recommend this RV park. We camped at Yellowstone Grizzly RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Stayed here for one night on our way to Tetons. Campground was great! Sites were shaded with grass, there were many free activities for kids including a hayride and miniature golf. We wished we could have stayed longer. We camped at Bear Lake / Garden City KOA in a Travel Trailer.
