Beverly Beach State Park, Newport, Oregon

Date of Stay: February, 2018 - $43.00
Overall Rating:

Beautiful park with a lot of trees. Loops A and B are closest to the beach, have 50amp service and cable available and are subject to Hwy 101 noise such as it is. Loop C had some cable available. Our site in C loop, the cable was of poor quality. The sites had plenty of room between them literally created in amongst the trees and natural undergrowth. The roads and site pad were asphalt but in most cases not very level. What you might expect in a natural setting. We camped at Beverly Beach State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Port Orford RV Village, Port Orford, Oregon

Date of Stay: February, 2018 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

We liked this RV park. Lots of grass and trees for shade. There was a very nice laundermat but unfortunately for us it closed at 4:30pm. The manager was very helpful. Our site was pretty level. Full hook ups available including cable. 30 amp only available. Verizon had decent coverage. The bathrooms were clean with concrete floors, and no heat. We camped at Port Orford RV Village in a Travel Trailer.

Redcrest Resort, Redcrest, California

Date of Stay: February, 2018 - $46.00
Overall Rating:

The park was essentially a large gravel parking lot requiring lateral leveling. The site had many large redwood trees providing shade and ambiance. The park was well located along the Avenue of the Giants. Sites had 30 amps, water and sewer connections. No cable. Verizon signal was very good at site. The site had a tremendous amount of unfulfilled potential in my opinion. We enjoyed our time here. We camped at Redcrest Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Golden Rule RV Park, Willits, California

Date of Stay: February, 2018 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

Difficult to find. Might be easier to find if you google Seabiscuit Stable as they are on the same road. Their address doesn't get you there. Coordinates don't get you there either. This is a small park. Some sites had reasonable room but the pull throughs were very close together. If I was to stay again I would ask for a space by the creek as they are more spacious. Sites were not level but manageable. All sites had grass, trees for shade and picnic tables. Verizon coverage was spotty. No cable or WiFi. 30 amp service, water and sewer hookups at all sites. We enjoyed the site. We camped at Golden Rule RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Sonoma County Fair Grounds, Santa Rosa, California

Date of Stay: February, 2018 - $41.00
Overall Rating:

This park is fine if you need a place to sleep and you want a hook up. It's a gravel parking lot, period. The bathroom and showers were clean but nothing special, with concrete floors, and no heat. No apparent electric outlet available to dry hair. We camped at Sonoma County Fair Grounds in a Travel Trailer.

Cannon Beach RV Resort, Cannon Beach, Oregon

Date of Stay: February, 2018 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Good check in, fast and efficient. Nicely laid out park with lots of tree's and grassy areas. Very good WiFi and cable. Nice small indoor pool and kids play area. They also had gas pumps and propane tanks for refills. Access to Cannon Beach was excellent, just across the highway. We camped at Cannon Beach RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.
