Don Carter State Park, Gainesville, Georgia

Date of Stay: February, 2018 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Wow, this place is beautiful! Gorgeous lake, terrific campground. Everything is new and sparkling clean. Nice, clean and inexpensive laundry facilities. Gated entry at both park entrance and campground entrance. Friendly staff to top it all off! We would have easily given it a 10 if there was sewer at the sites. It's a good trek from the main highway, but definitely worth it. We camped at Don Carter State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Red Gate Campground & RV Resort, Savannah, Georgia

Date of Stay: February, 2018 - $49.00
Overall Rating:

This place is wonderful! It's clean, well maintained, has great amenities and the staff are so nice and helpful. It would be nice if there were trees in between sites, but where we were still felt very private. We had an end spot, #17, which had a lot of space and we backed up to trees so we had some nice shade. There are animals, an amazing playground, a pool, beautiful ponds, nice porch type swings and it's just a short drive into Savannah, which is beautiful. The Savannah Trolley will pick you up at the park. You can buy discounted tickets at the office. They have a weight room, a kitchen, laundry facilities, a nice living room with tv and more. Everything was nice, clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again! We camped at Red Gate Campground & RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

North Beach Camp Resort, St Augustine, Florida

Date of Stay: February, 2018 - $80.00
Overall Rating:

We enjoyed this park quite a lot. It felt very private and quiet. We were in 17 at the front of the property. We backed a side road, but it wasn't a busy road and we hardly noticed any vehicles. The park will fill your propane tanks, which came in very handy. Great location across from the beach and just a short drive into St. Augustine, which we really enjoyed. Gas station and a Publix just down the road. Great playground, shuffleboard and basketball court. All very nice and well maintained. We love the trees here. We drove through the park and noticed most of the rvs were well kept. There were several long term residences that looked a bit run down. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely return in the future. We camped at North Beach Camp Resort in a Travel Trailer.
