Lewis & Clark Golf & RV Park, Astoria, Oregon

Date of Stay: July, 2009 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

This campground overall was excellent. The sites and landscaping were perfect. The owners live on site and are friendly, helpful and informative and want you to have a good stay. The sites were large enough to accommodate our 43' motorhome with no problem with all the hookups and free Wi-Fi. We will definitely stay there again when passing through next year. We camped at Lewis & Clark Golf & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Fireside Resort at Buffalo Valley , Moran, Wyoming

Date of Stay: July, 2007 - $54.00
Overall Rating:

Maintenance is not a word in their vocabulary. The sites are unlevel, muddy, water hookups makeshift, cables all cut or no cable ends, grass all dead, no landscaping, picnic tables aged and in need of replacement, junk all around, fuel and LP prices sky high (30-50% higher than elsewhere). Website is very misleading. Wish I had looked at RVParkReviews first. Would never stay here again. We camped at Fireside Resort at Buffalo Valley in a Motorhome.

Date of Stay: June, 2007 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

This park used to be a KOA and was allowed to deteriorate badly. The new owners are working feverishly to make it a model campground. They have a way to go but are constantly working on it. They have just installed a wi fi access for free, the grounds are really nice and well groomed, the pool is clean, the hot tub is clean and fully functional. At the rate of improvements in progress the ratings will easily reach 9 or 10 in the near future. We camped in a Motorhome.
