United Campground of Durango, Durango, Colorado

Date of Stay: July, 2007 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

Park was well maintained. Roads were gravel and a mister truck came thru each morning to wet them down. CG is at the end of the Durango Trolley system which was very convenient. Trolley was 50 cents per adult 1 way and went to downtown Durango. Silverton NG railroad split thru the campground. The grand kids loved it. Pool was nice but closed due to thunder. Needs a playground. We camped at United Campground of Durango in a Fifth Wheel.

Lone Duck Campground, Cascade, Colorado

Date of Stay: June, 2007 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

Nice CG but a little crowded for a 33" 5er. Fishing pond on site that cost to fish in. Nice playground and pool. Just felt a little packed in. Lots of road noise for Highway 24. We camped at Lone Duck Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Nice CG. Indoor pool, paved roads and playground. A number of sites were for sale. Pull through sites were a little in the open, though. We camped at Tiger Run RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.
