Turkey Run State Park, Marshall, Indiana

Date of Stay: March, 2018 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

My wife and I took 2 of our granddaughters camping for Spring Break and had a wonderful time. We had 2 days in the 50's and then 2 days with 8 INCHES OF SNOW!!! Welcome to Indiana springs! Took multiple hike on each day. The DNR did plow the snow off of the roads but it did kind of end up in front of your vehicle. Had a 4WD so no problem. FYI the pool at the Inn was closed due to work being done on the ceiling of the pool. You might want to check if that's a service you'd like to take advantage of. We camped at Turkey Run State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Head down south to Rockville and found several small stores. A 5 & 10 store and several antique stores. Really a nice little community. Also just approx 20 miles away is Crawfordsville. There is a Walmart there that offers automotive service 7 days a week. I needed to get a tire patched so it really came in handy! We also took the time to visit several covered bridges.
