My family was very disappointed in this campground. Campsites were terrible, no shade or trees on them at all. You might as well just go put your camper in a parking lot. They were crammed together, so you could always tell what your neighbor was up to. There was pretty much only pool swimming, the beach area was a tiny opening in a river basically. There was a water playground, which was pretty cool, especially for younger children. You had be to be over 18 (or maybe 16?) to go into the jacuzzi (which also costed money to run the jets). Overall, I wouldn't recommend this campground, unless you are not picky in the slightest, and you also have kids.

This will be my 10th year in a row going to Papoose Pond. It is the best campground I have ever camped at. Whenever my family camps elsewhere, we always compare our stay to that at Papoose. The activities are great (especially for kids) and nightly entertainment is really good. The staff is friendly, the beach is clean, and the campsites are beautiful. The only bad thing i could say is that sometimes during the day, the bath houses can become a little dirty, because sand and dirt gets tracked in and turns to a little bit of mud on the floor. Other than that, I couldn't say anything bad. There are lots tournaments you can enter (ping-pong, horseshoes, tennis, washer-tosser, etc.) and many ongoing activities, such as "Find the Key", where a new clue to where the key might be is posted each day (the key unlocks a prize in the camp store). Definitely have kids (and adults too) bring bikes, as that is the best means of travel throughout the campground. I would definitely recommend this campground to anyone, young or old. There is something for everybody, whether you just want to chill out and relax, or play and be active.

This park was very very nice! One of the best we have been to. I really liked the quiet atmosphere. We were right next to a small playground, which was great for the younger kids we were with. The only downside was that it felt a bit boring at times. I didn't feel like there was a whole lot going on, which is good sometimes though. There was also a Llama Walk, which sounds like not so much fun, but it was actually very cool. It was a hike, but some llamas came along and everyone took turns walking them. I participated in an epic game of capture the flag int he woods, in which all the other campers were very enthusiastic. Overall I would definitely recommend this campground to anyone, especially people looking to get away for a while
