Park is quiet but close enough to beach and restaurants. Spaces are very wide, easy to park RV. Bathhouse is extremely nice and clean. Clubhouse is big and nice. Some construction going on at the playground. Well manicured grounds. Nice staff. Wifi and TV stations are excellent. We stayed in a Motorhome. We camped at Sugar Sands RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Even though it is very close to the toll bridge to The Wharf, we go west for a couple of miles and end up near Cotton Creek Golf Club to eat at Kittys Kafe. Great breakfast. Then go south from there to the beach. Hate paying tolls.

Without a doubt the best RV park on the coast. We continue to come back over and over. Very friendly staff. Clean grounds and pool. Clean restrooms. Free pizza on the Saturday that we stayed. Majestic Oaks RV Resort, Biloxi, Mississippi

Date of Stay: July, 2009 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

This is the best campground on the Mississippi coast. Manicured landscape. Fantastic staff. Some of the sites have small trees that my awning would not roll out, but the staff gladly put me in another spot where it would roll out. Other than that this place is the only campground that I will stay in on the coast again. The staff had a free BBQ, raffle, and a rented water slide for the kids on the 4th. We camped at Majestic Oaks RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Flint Creek Water Park, Wiggins, Mississippi

Date of Stay: August, 2007 - $18.00
Overall Rating:

Advantages were shaded lots and view of the lake plus a water slide area. Disadvantages were no cable tv, no internet, ants everywhere, sewer backed up and ran all over the ground, several of the tall pine trees were dead and ready to fall, restrooms were not clean and showers had ants crawling up and down the walls. The lake was plenty large enough to ski on but there were so many boats that even that was not enjoyable. Fishing was not that great either. The quiet time was not enforced. One group partied with music til 2:00 am. This will not be on my list of places to stay at or return to. We camped at Flint Creek Water Park in a Travel Trailer.

Nice quiet campground. Good fishing in the lake. Spots were clean. Hard to get satellite TV with all the trees but has plenty of shade. Lots of hills to climb. Two golf courses. A nice 18-hole course and a par three. Would return again. We camped at Percy Quin State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Wales West RV Resort and Campground, Silverhill, Alabama

Date of Stay: April, 2007 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

This park has gravel spots with some grass. It is clean and well kept. It has a train that travels around the campground. Great for kids. It also has a lake with a man made beach. There is a playground for kids. Didn't like the indoor pool. It was like walking into a sauna. The recreation room is nice with singing on certain nights. Staff was very nice. Definitely worth the stop. We camped at Wales West RV Resort and Campground in a Travel Trailer.
