Ledgeview RV Park, Lake George, New York

Date of Stay: July, 2007 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice park which caters to RVs only, no tents. Large sites with full hookups with very reasonable rates for the area. Park is very well maintained and the on site store is very well stocked. We will definitely visit this park again. We camped at Ledgeview RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

My Brother's Place Campground, Houlton, Maine

Date of Stay: July, 2007 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice campground with almost all pull-thru sites. WiFi was $2.00 extra but worked great. We stayed there overnight on our way to and from PEI. We found the owners very pleasant and eager to please. This campground is 2 miles from the US - Canada border so it's very convenient too. We camped at My Brother's Place Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

New Glasgow Highlands, New Glasgow, Prince Edward Island

Date of Stay: July, 2007 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

This was our first trip to PEI, so all we had to go by were the reviews submitted here and on RV.Net. This campground was beautiful. The owners went out of their way to make us feel at home and were extremely helpful in resolving a mechanical issue with my rig. The campground is spotless, quiet but not to the point that children couldn't have fun. I will stay there again in the future without hesitation. Since it's centrally located on PEI, every tourist local is an easy drive. The campground is small so reservations are a must! We camped at New Glasgow Highlands in a Fifth Wheel.

Clearwater Campground, Meredith, New Hampshire

Date of Stay: June, 2007 - $43.00
Overall Rating:

This is our favorite weekend getaway campground. Great wooded sites with full hookups, a very nice lake with a sandy beach and centrally located in the Lakes Region. The campground does have a great deal of seasonal campers but we never felt like outsiders. I would say the rates are a little pricey but about average for this area. We camped at Clearwater Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
