Magic Pines Campground, Lewis, New York

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

Campground is not well kept as seems the owners are getting on in age. The pool is cold and has a leak so always adding in more cold water. Wifi is sketchy The bathrooms are old and not very clean. Not a lot to do as they do not have activities for children. They do have a happy hour each other evening although we did not go. Seems like a regular group of people having drinks. There is a tennis court and a small park. They have a laundromat which is good if you are there for a long period. Seems most are seasonal. We had some rain while there and the roads on the campground get flooded. They should add more gravel to fix this. Lots of pine needles so be prepared to sweep a lot out of your camper. If you like sitting in a quiet atmosphere with not much around well it is the place for you. There are near by hiking places. Grocery Store is about 20 minutes drive and Plattsburgh is 45 minutes away. Lots of better campgrounds around for the price. Would not stay again. We camped at Magic Pines Campground in a Travel Trailer.
