Shenandoah Valley Campground, Mount Jackson, Virginia

Date of Stay: October, 2018 - $44.00
Overall Rating:

Cute little park off of I-81. Perfect in and out for an overnight or short stay. Owner of the park does a good job making the store/office homey. Would stay again. We camped at Shenandoah Valley Campground in a Motorhome.

Eagle Peak Lodge and RV Park, Ashton, Idaho

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

This property is the old Ashton Inn and RV Park. The new owner has put a lot of effort in sprucing up the Inn. It appears that he has upgraded the electrical problems of the RV park as well. At this point the park has everything that we need; level site, easy hook-ups, good water pressure, stable electricity. Would recommend this park to any self contained unit. There is grass between each unit, although it could use a cutting while we were here. Rural setting. Convenience store and gas station located close by. Easy in and out. Quiet! We camped at Eagle Peak Lodge and RV Park in a Motorhome.

Eagle Peak Lodge and RV Park, Ashton, Idaho

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

There has been a change of ownership about 8 years ago. It is now called Eagle Park Lodge. The RV park looks to have the electrical boxes updated. We LOVE the park and its location. It is rustic and quiet! We can see cows and the Tetons! The lodge looks nice too although we didn't see the rooms. There is a gas station and convenience store close by. The co-owner let us pick our site. All hookups worked well. Leveling was easy. No wi-fi but ATT works well so we used a hot spot. There are no showers or bathrooms in the park from what I know. Perhaps they are available in the lodge. We are self-contained so I didn't look. We will definitely come back to this location. We camped at Eagle Peak Lodge and RV Park in a Motorhome.

Country Manor Mobile Home Community (55+ Park), Visalia, California

Date of Stay: May, 2018 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Not a resort but a perfect place for a short stay. Is an older mobile home park with a few RV spots to the left of the office. The park was able a provide a spot to accommodate our 43 ft and tow vehicle. No complaints about water, electricity or sewer. A bit noisy as we were quite close to I fairly busy road, but it worked out well for us. Office staff were nice. We camped at Country Manor Mobile Home Community (55+ Park) in a Motorhome.

Bayhead Mobile Home Park, Tallahassee, Florida

Date of Stay: April, 2018 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed one night at Bayhead. This park is an old trailer park in the process of being upgraded into an RV Park with some new park homes. Long term RVs appeared to be on grass under a canapy of huge trees. Short term RV spots are on old concrete slabs; ours was uneven and we had to be careful not to drag the giant mud flap/motorhome name across the concrete. Our electric had 30 amp only working. Serene setting and I would expect that this campground, probably is the best in Tallahassee. We camped at Bayhead Mobile Home Park in a Motorhome.

Deer Creek RV Golf Resort, Davenport, Florida

Date of Stay: April, 2018 - $75.00
Overall Rating:

We enjoyed our two day stay in the Regal Point section of the campground. It is an older park but appears to be well run. The golf course was in good shape and our site was easy to maneuver the 43 ft bus into. People were friendly. Would expect this place to be busy in season. Renting by owners is the way to go. We camped at Deer Creek RV Golf Resort in a Motorhome.
