So clean, everything was in place and kept up very well. Everything from the signs to the showers to the grass was so well kept. Warm friendly staff. There was a great pond with fish and small but nice lake for swimming. A bizillion stores about 4 miles away in Mt Vernon if you forgot something. Small number of lots but highly recommended campground.

We have stayed here several times in the past 5 years, and the owners have always had a strange "so-what" attitude. Kind of an odd way of holding onto your customers. Nice lake and pool, friendly permanents, Walmart nearby as well as a LOT of road noise from I-70 directly beside campground. Full hookup sites are easy to get in and out of, but water clarity (from spigot going to RV) was poor. Will go back; prices are very reasonable.

Everything was very clean including the showers and pool area. Pool used "salt water" (instead of chlorine?) and was very relaxing. Majority of campers there were older and the campground was very quiet.

Very friendly staff. Fresh water to trailer had a yellow tint to it. The water pressure dropped down to almost nothing on one night. Pond had fish in it but you could only get to about 20 feet of the shore line to fish it due to the cattails. The "game room" had about 12 games in it with only half of them working. The pool closes what we thought was early (8 pm) for summer hours. They pick up your bag of trash for you if you set it out along the road in the early a.m. The staff helps you find your site and even helps you back in when you get there. The staff checks the area by golf cart quite often making you feel that they care about what is going on there. Thats a plus.
