Junction 37 Services RV Park, Watson Lake, Yukon

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

No frills place to stay. Great for a one nighter. Check in at the gas station then go and pick out your site. We had full hookups that work well. Our site was level but overgrown with branches. Very peaceful and quiet. There are no amenities at this place other than gas and some snacks at the gas station. We camped at Junction 37 Services RV Park in a Motorhome.

Jasper Gates Resort and RV Park, Hinton, Alberta

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

This park is in a beautiful area. Our site was not level at all. We used every leveling block we had along with what ever else we could find and still couldn't get level. They really need to level the sites. It seems to be a complaint among all the guests I talked with. Water pressure was bad. We ended up just using our on board water and pump. Our site had about 25psi for water pressure. The staff is friendly and were even helping folks get their coaches level by bringing wood to them to stack. No laundry and the wifi is not great if you are into wifi. No cable or over the air channels. The office has food and snacks and a large selection of movies you can rent if you want something to watch. Careful navigating around if you are in a big rig. Pretty narrow site and we caught a tree trying to get in. We are 41 foot. We camped at Jasper Gates Resort and RV Park in a Motorhome.

Folding Mountain brewery is right next door to the park. Great place to go after you spend forever trying to get your rig level. Great food and beer. Lots of sight seeing around Jasper. Waterfalls, ice fields, boat tours, etc.

Mile 0 Park & Campground, Dawson Creek, British Columbia

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $41.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed two nights here. Nice park with good landscaping but we could not get our coach to level. We had a back in site that had a pretty good slope to it. Good water pressure and stable power. The laundry rooms were very dirty. We did our laundry in town at a laundromat. We camped at Mile 0 Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Heritage RV Park, Homer, Alaska

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here for a month so we were able to get the monthly rate. We were not on the water but a row back from it. Once the park got full there were only views of the other RVs. Very stable power, great water pressure and our site was level. Great location on the Spit (Southern tip of the Kenai Peninsula). The wind got to be a little much for us but we knew it was going to be windy being on the Spit. The laundry was nice and clean. I guess the only complaint really would be they don't cut the grass/weeds which became very over grown at our site. Great Eagle watching area. We camped at Heritage RV Park in a Motorhome.

Stoney Creek RV Park, Seward, Alaska

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $43.00
Overall Rating:

Nice quiet location away from the crowed parks in Seward. Short drive into Seward and real close to Exit Glacier. Our site was level and had a picnic table and fire ring. Some spots don't have the fire rings. Good stable power. Wifi wasn't so great we ended up not using it and went with our Verizon Mifi instead. Good Verizon service. We camped at Stoney Creek RV Park in a Motorhome.

Big Bear Campground & RV Park, Palmer, Alaska

Overall Rating:

We loved this park and will stay there again on our way out of Alaska. Lot's to do in the area. The park is very clean and has really nice staff. Big laundry room, clean bathrooms, stable power and the sites are very level. You can also get propane there as well. We camped at Big Bear Campground & RV Park in a Motorhome.

McKinley RV & Campground, Healy, Alaska

Date of Stay: May, 2018 - $43.00
Overall Rating:

This park has changed it's name to Midnight Sun RV Park. The new owner is very friendly and helpful. They are working on trying to get the place cleaned up from the previous owners. The positives are very stable 30 amp electric, good water pressure, convenience store and fuel on site. The gas station is big rig friendly. The brewery next door is a great place to eat or just hang. Great food and beer. Nice short drive to Denali NP. The cons are the park needs some cleaning up. We received a lot of rain while we were there and our site was completely flooded due to having lots of pot holes and not level. The road into the park is pretty bad for a motorhome. Lot's of big pot holes that really rocked my 40' motorhome. The park is pretty tight for big rigs, I caught some branches trying to get out. We did not use the bathrooms or laundry. We camped at McKinley RV & Campground in a Motorhome.

River's Edge Resort, Fairbanks, Alaska

Date of Stay: May, 2018 - $53.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed at River's Edge for 4 nights. Nice park with lots of trees and you are on the rivers edge. It was no problem navigating the roads with our 40' motorhome and 4 door Jeep in tow. Our site had plenty of room. The 30 amp power at our site kept dropping and my surge protector would shut the power off. Not sure if it was just site specific or for the whole park. Gift shop is great, the staff was very helpful and they have ice cream and coffee in the office. The laundry room was huge and clean. They also have a car wash on site. We camped at River's Edge Resort in a Motorhome.

Hi Country RV Park, Whitehorse, Yukon

Date of Stay: May, 2018 - $43.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed 4 nights at Hi Country. We enjoyed our stay there. Great location and our spot space #60 was excellent. Right on the end and plenty of space for my 40' motorhome and 4dr Jeep. This place has an amazing gift shop and the laundry is very good. The only real negative is the wifi was not that great and you only get it for 30 min once a day. We camped at Hi Country RV Park in a Motorhome.

Fort Telkwa Riverfront RV Campground, Telkwa, British Columbia

Date of Stay: May, 2018 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

This has been the one of the nicest RV parks we have stayed in. The owners are so freindly and accommodating. We had space 30 which over looks the river and is a pull in site. Plenty long enough for our 40' motorhome and Jeep. Good water pressure, great cable TV!! The free Wifi here is very good. Probably the cleanest restrooms and laundry we have seen. Great little hiking trail at this park. We really enjoyed our stay here. We camped at Fort Telkwa Riverfront RV Campground in a Motorhome.

We love this park. There is a private walkway to the beach that is about a 100 yards from where we parked. Our site was level and had plenty of room for our 40' motorhome and our 4 dr Jeep. The staff was very helpful and very nice! Probably the best park we saw in the Coos Bay Area. We camped at Oceanside Beachfront RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Elk Country RV Resort & Campground, Trinidad, California

Date of Stay: April, 2018 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed at Elk Country for 3 nights and really enjoyed our stay. It had been raining a lot so our grass site was very soft and it was difficult to get our 40' motorhome level. The jacks just wanted to go into the ground even with jack pads. The best part were the Elk that showed up our final day. Amazing!! Clean laundry and restrooms. We camped at Elk Country RV Resort & Campground in a Motorhome.
