4J+1+1 RV Park & Campground, Ouray, Colorado

Date of Stay: August, 2018 - $44.00
Overall Rating:

Great views at this park. The location is great! You can walk to town. Except for a few sites, they are crazy close together. My awning covered part of the trailer next to us. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The laundry room was clean but only had two washing machines and three dryers working. We camped at 4J+1+1 RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Ouray RV Park & Cabins, Ouray, Colorado

Date of Stay: August, 2018 - $55.00
Overall Rating:

We liked this park a lot. Easy to get around in our 41" MH. All gravel lot and our site was not very level. We had to use blocks to try and get level. Great views of the mountains!! The staff at the park is very friendly and helpful. The laundry room is huge with lots of big machines and very clean. Kinda close to your neighbor but there is enough room to set up a chair, bbq, etc. Nice 1.5 mile walk way around the creek behind the RV park. We camped at Ouray RV Park & Cabins in a Motorhome.

Park City RV Resort, Park City, Utah

Date of Stay: August, 2018 - $54.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed in one of the premium sites that had a concrete slab. Very level and full hooks ups. Our site had a ton of room and had a gazebo that sat 6 people with a table. Not sure what a previous reviewer was saying about you have to 5 years or newer to stay in a premium site. My coach is 7 years old!! I was never asked how old my coach was just how long it was. This is one of our favorite parks so far. Great view of the hills, was able to Mtn. Bike numerous trails right from the RV park, lots of hiking and really close to the city. We sat outside every night with binoculars and watched all the wildlife on the hills. Lot's of deer!! Very clean park with a nice pool. The laundry machines could use a little TLC but everything worked fine. The staff was very helpful and very nice. We camped at Park City RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Fireside Resort at Buffalo Valley , Moran, Wyoming

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $90.00
Overall Rating:

The price per night reflects all the taxes that gets added to your bill when you pay (the resort tax alone is $10 a day). The park is in a great location and beautiful views. Our site needed to be graded. It had pot holes that made it very difficult to get level. We got close. We didn't use the restrooms or showers only the laundry. The laundry room was dirty and the machines were not clean. Kinda gross!! There is a bar that is on site if you are into that. The gas station on site is big rig friendly. We camped at Fireside Resort at Buffalo Valley in a Motorhome.

Yellowstone Grizzly RV Park, West Yellowstone, Montana

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $78.00
Overall Rating:

This is one of the nicest parks we have ever stayed in. Very clean, paved roads, great store/gift shop. Lot's to do if you have kids. The park is always full but it has a great "vibe" about it. Tons to do in West Yellowstone and Yellowstone NP is just around the corner. We could have stayed here for a long time. We camped at Yellowstone Grizzly RV Park in a Motorhome.

Johnson's Campground and RV Park, Browning, Montana

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $46.00
Overall Rating:

Great location if you are going to Glacier NP. We had a 30amp and water site (no sewer) We were in a pull through up on the side of the hill. We had a very difficult time getting our 40' motorhome level. After several blocks under jacks and tires we just left it close as we could get it. Our site wasn't long enough for our motorhome and Jeep. Great views from this park!!!! We camped at Johnson's Campground and RV Park in a Motorhome.

Bow RiversEdge Campground, Cochrane, Alberta

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed four nights at this park. It has been our favorite park so far here in Canada and Alaska. The park is very well maintained, level sites, stable power and GREAT water pressure. The laundry is very nice and clean. We really liked how the sites don't feel that close together due to the landscaping between sites. Plenty of room for our 41' motorhome and 4dr Jeep. There is a great walking trail next to the RV park along the river. There is a Walmart and restaurants are close buy. We camped at Bow RiversEdge Campground in a Motorhome.

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

No frills place to stay. Great for a one nighter. Check in at the gas station then go and pick out your site. We had full hookups that work well. Our site was level but overgrown with branches. Very peaceful and quiet. There are no amenities at this place other than gas and some snacks at the gas station. We camped at Junction 37 Services RV Park in a Motorhome.

Jasper Gates Resort and RV Park, Hinton, Alberta

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

This park is in a beautiful area. Our site was not level at all. We used every leveling block we had along with what ever else we could find and still couldn't get level. They really need to level the sites. It seems to be a complaint among all the guests I talked with. Water pressure was bad. We ended up just using our on board water and pump. Our site had about 25psi for water pressure. The staff is friendly and were even helping folks get their coaches level by bringing wood to them to stack. No laundry and the wifi is not great if you are into wifi. No cable or over the air channels. The office has food and snacks and a large selection of movies you can rent if you want something to watch. Careful navigating around if you are in a big rig. Pretty narrow site and we caught a tree trying to get in. We are 41 foot. We camped at Jasper Gates Resort and RV Park in a Motorhome.

We stayed two nights here. Nice park with good landscaping but we could not get our coach to level. We had a back in site that had a pretty good slope to it. Good water pressure and stable power. The laundry rooms were very dirty. We did our laundry in town at a laundromat. We camped at Mile 0 Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Heritage RV Park, Homer, Alaska

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here for a month so we were able to get the monthly rate. We were not on the water but a row back from it. Once the park got full there were only views of the other RVs. Very stable power, great water pressure and our site was level. Great location on the Spit (Southern tip of the Kenai Peninsula). The wind got to be a little much for us but we knew it was going to be windy being on the Spit. The laundry was nice and clean. I guess the only complaint really would be they don't cut the grass/weeds which became very over grown at our site. Great Eagle watching area. We camped at Heritage RV Park in a Motorhome.

Stoney Creek RV Park, Seward, Alaska

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $43.00
Overall Rating:

Nice quiet location away from the crowed parks in Seward. Short drive into Seward and real close to Exit Glacier. Our site was level and had a picnic table and fire ring. Some spots don't have the fire rings. Good stable power. Wifi wasn't so great we ended up not using it and went with our Verizon Mifi instead. Good Verizon service. Midnight Sun RV and Campground (formerly) McKinley RV & Campground, Healy, Alaska

Date of Stay: May, 2018 - $43.00
Overall Rating:

This park has changed it's name to Midnight Sun RV Park. The new owner is very friendly and helpful. They are working on trying to get the place cleaned up from the previous owners. The positives are very stable 30 amp electric, good water pressure, convenience store and fuel on site. The gas station is big rig friendly. The brewery next door is a great place to eat or just hang. Great food and beer. Nice short drive to Denali NP. The cons are the park needs some cleaning up. We received a lot of rain while we were there and our site was completely flooded due to having lots of pot holes and not level. The road into the park is pretty bad for a motorhome. Lot's of big pot holes that really rocked my 40' motorhome. The park is pretty tight for big rigs, I caught some branches trying to get out. We did not use the bathrooms or laundry. We camped at Midnight Sun RV and Campground (formerly) McKinley RV & Campground in a Motorhome.

River's Edge Resort, Fairbanks, Alaska

Date of Stay: May, 2018 - $53.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed at River's Edge for 4 nights. Nice park with lots of trees and you are on the rivers edge. It was no problem navigating the roads with our 40' motorhome and 4 door Jeep in tow. Our site had plenty of room. The 30 amp power at our site kept dropping and my surge protector would shut the power off. Not sure if it was just site specific or for the whole park. Gift shop is great, the staff was very helpful and they have ice cream and coffee in the office. The laundry room was huge and clean. They also have a car wash on site. We camped at River's Edge Resort in a Motorhome.
