William B. Umstead State Park, Raleigh, North Carolina

Date of Stay: May, 2018 - $14.00
Overall Rating:

Good location if you are visiting Raleigh. Airport noise is noticeable but it seemed to quiet a bit at night. Spaces are smaller and will not accommodate a larger RV. Park is clean but bathrooms need a bit of updating. Hot showers are included in camping fee. We camped at William B. Umstead State Park in a Truck Camper.

Overall Rating:

This is a great stop if you are traveling on 95. It is a bit off the road but well worth it. The park offers partly shaded spots and clean bathrooms with hot showers included in your campsite fee. We camped at Medoc Mountain State Park in a Truck Camper.
