This is the only big rig park in Santa Fe. The 3/4 mile walking path and large dog run are great! Downtown Santa Fe is about 7-8 miles away. We have stayed in three parks (on Cerillos) in Santa Fe and this is by far the nicest.

Date of Stay:

The park has very large sites and streets. There are picture postcard view on all four sides!

This is a great overnight park. They keep it extraordinarily clean. Our AC broke and they were able to call Clawhammer RV & Appliance repair. They were able to come out and fixed it within hours. Were very professional!

This is the closest park to King Ranch. The office people were very nice. The electrical hook-up at our site was in need of repair to the point of being dangerous. There are lot of permanent people here.

This is a great park for adults over 50.

This is a great overnight park for I-10. The owners are very hard workers and the park is in excellent condition. We stayed here last year about this same time and the park was in the same condition as it is now.

Pros: It was quiet during the week. We were not there on the weekend. Large spaces, some designed so that two RV’s could have their awnings together. It is close to the National Forest. This place would be great for family reunions. Cons: The entrance is a little tricky. This was and still is a place for a lot of tent campers and lots of children. No local TV stations, No cable, but satellite reception was fine. Internet service is to the front half of the park only, No cell phone service (you are truly in a hollow).

The good things were all the hook ups worked and the site was fairly level. The bad was the road inside the park, the highway noise and the general up keep of the park. If you need a park on Texas 6 and you are very tired use this park. If you want to spend time in the area I suggest you find someplace else. There are single rooms for rent at the front.

This park and the owner are great! To get here you have to go down Main Street. If you are arriving at a busy time this can be hazardous because of all the pickup trucks angle-parked. Go slow and take your half out of the middle. If you have dogs, watch out for the stickers.

Cash or check only! The park was fine and if they ever finish the SR-289 loop, it will be an easy on and off. Great for overnight.

DO NOT get site 84 if you are a BIG RIG! All the pull through sites are tight to get into, if there are other coaches behind you. The only redeeming factor for this place is the location.

This is the most pleasant park of the three in this area. Old section has shade and the new section doesn't. New section is great for overnight. The old section is better for more extended stays.

This is a very nice comfortable park. Alto is at 7400 ft. which is the same as Santa Fe. If you are coming from the North, take 48 from Capitan.

This is a new park. The owners live on site and want to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. The park is well maintained.

This is a good place to stay for a night. The overnight sites are large pull throughs. Mostly long term trailers.
