Mountain Meadow RV Park and Cabins, Hungry Horse, Montana

Date of Stay: August, 2018 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

Lots of trees and shades. From the meadow by the office you have a nice view of the mountains. Campsites are located on a hill and some are tricky to maneuver into. Hook-ups were good. Only a small portion of the campsites had gravel, the rest were dirt and not level. This was the first Park we've been in that actually waters the roads to keep the dust down. The main entrance road to the park needs maintenance, very rough and bumpy. Our site was labeled a pull through but you had to back out because one end of the site was a hill and we would have scraped bottom. We camped at Mountain Meadow RV Park and Cabins in a Motorhome.

St. Mary / East Glacier KOA, St Mary, Montana

Date of Stay: August, 2018 - $80.00
Overall Rating:

It's a nice park with lots of amenities and conveniently located to the entrance of Glacier National Park. It is situated in the middle of a meadow so there is no shade. Full hookups worked well as well as Verizon cell. Sites are close together. The roads within the park are dirt so anything left outside will get covered with a layer of dirt. We camped at St. Mary / East Glacier KOA in a Motorhome.

Spring Creek RV Campground, Canmore, Alberta

Date of Stay: August, 2018 - $55.00
Overall Rating:

Conveniently located near Trans Canada Highway and downtown Canmore. Beautiful view of the mountains. However, there is a large complex of condominiums being built right beside the campground so there is a lot of noise and dirt surrounding you. The road going past the construction and into the park is dirt and heavily travelled (with a speed limit of 30km even in the park.) There are also railroad tracks right next to the campground with trains running at regular intervals. The are many full time campers here and sites are very close together. Water pressure diminishes greatly in the evening. We were scheduled to stay here 7 nights but left after 3 nights. We were charged a one night cancellation fee. We camped at Spring Creek RV Campground in a Motorhome.

Olympic Peninsula / Port Angeles KOA, Port Angeles, Washington

Date of Stay: August, 2018 - $75.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed 2 nights in our motorhome in a deluxe site. It had a concrete pad, spacious patio, glider, picnic table and fire ring. Had a nice view of the mountains. There are sections of wooden fencing between these sites for added privacy. The office staff was super friendly and helpful. They had a nice laundry facility with commercial size washers and dryers at a very reasonable price. We camped at Olympic Peninsula / Port Angeles KOA in a Motorhome.

Crescent Beach & RV Park, Port Angeles, Washington

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

This is a no frills campground right on the beach. It is right next door to a state park which you have easy access to. Views are beautiful (when the weather cooperates). The camp sites are close together and the ground is uneven, so prepare to spend a little time getting your rig level. You need to make reservations in advance because camp sites in this area of the peninsula fill up quickly in the summer. We camped at Crescent Beach & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Beautiful park. Immaculately maintained. Paved pads, grassy area and picnic table for each site. Parallel parking for towed vehicle in front of each site. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Only negatives would be no shade and sites are very close together. We camped at Gilgal Oasis RV Park in a Motorhome.

Gig Harbor RV Resort, Gig Harbor, Washington

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $43.00
Overall Rating:

This campground is situated on a hillside which can make maneuvering into your site a little tricky as well as finding a flat area to hitch and unhitch a towed vehicle. The cable tv was snowy, the sites were not level and the water pressure was only 20 lbs. The sites are very close together. We were fortunate to have site 71 which was on the end of the row so we only had one neighbor and the other side looked out over the hillside to the lower level of the campground. The office staff was super friendly and very helpful with maps and suggestions of activities in the area. Clean modern laundry facility. We camped at Gig Harbor RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Packwood RV Park and Campground, Packwood, Washington

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

This is an older campground but it was nice and provided everything we needed: full hook-ups, shady site, good wifi, nice laundry facilities. Office staff was friendly and helpful. We were in site 10 which requires you to drive between 2 large trees but we had no problems getting our 31 foot Class C into the space. We camped at Packwood RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

Nice park in a very wooded area. Nice walking trails and very close to the beach. Close to Staircase entrance of Olympic National Park. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Lots of tent campers too so campfire smoke is heavy in the evenings. We camped at Skokomish Park at Lake Cushman (formerly Camp Cushman) in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

Very nice park. Stayed here 3 nights over a weekend. Park was full but there was plenty of space for everyone. Quiet even though there were many families with small children. Lots of trees and sites along the water. Nice laundry facility. Close to Mount St. Helens. Would definitely stay here again if in the area. We camped at Silver Cove Resort in a Motorhome.

Mt Hood Village RV Resort, Welches, Oregon

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $65.00
Overall Rating:

Unless you have a Thousand Trails membership, I feel this Campground is highly overpriced. The campground is in a wooded area which gives you lots of shade. The sites are uneven, dirt (no gravel) and close together. You get the feel of being in a state campground rather than an "RV Resort." They do have a nicely stocked camp store with reasonable prices. We camped at Mt Hood Village RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Zephyr Cove Resort RV Park & Campground, Zephyr Cove, Nevada

Date of Stay: May, 2018 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed 4 nights. Since we arrived a day earlier than planned we had a different campsite the first night than we did the other three nights. The sites were close together in the middle of the park but we then moved up on the hill. Very nice site, quiet and more space between sites. Nice campground with lots of trees.
