Grassy Key RV Park & Resort, Marathon, Florida

Date of Stay: December, 2018 - $142.00
Overall Rating:

We took an impromptu vacation to the Keys last week and stayed at Grassy Key. It is a small park - I think the capacity is 48 - on the gulf side in Grassy Key, just north of Marathon. We had a deluxe waterfront site, site #B, right on the water, so it was pretty pricey. Man was it a nice spot though. The sites are all on pretty large stone - larger than gravel, but not large rocks. The site was level. Water pressure was OK. They have cable, full sewer and 50A service. The staff was very nice and accommodating. The park is very clean; they cleaned the deck chairs and raked the sandy areas around the on site docks every day we were there. Very nice place to stay in the Keys. We camped at Grassy Key RV Park & Resort in a Motorhome.

Blue Water RV Resort & Marina, Dayton, Tennessee

Date of Stay: August, 2018 - $49.00
Overall Rating:

Nice park, located on the Chickamauga Lake in SE TN. All of the sites are back in, but we did not have a problem getting our 34' MH into the spot. We had a premium lakefront spot. The park also has cabins for rent. Nice pool and a nice catch and release stocked fishing pond. There is a camp store. Very nice people running the place. Road into the park is kind of narrow. We will definitely visit again. We camped at Blue Water RV Resort & Marina in a Motorhome.

Orlando / Kissimmee KOA, Kissimmee, Florida

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $71.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed at the park for a week in June of 2018. The park is very clean and easy to access. Close to all of the Orlando parks. Our spot was space 2013 and it was more than long enough for our 34' motor home pulling a Nissan Pathfinder on a tow dolly - we are close to 60' combined. The only drawback was that the water pressure is a little low, and the wifi kept dropping out on me. That may have been because I was trying to work off the wifi, and my work requires a lot of bandwidth. The staff was very friendly, and the park itself is very clean and well maintained. We plan on making this our primary option any time we are in the Orlando area. We camped at Orlando / Kissimmee KOA in a Motorhome.

Duckett Mill COE, Gainesville, Georgia

Date of Stay: May, 2018 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

We were in spot #83 (or was it 86?). Nice, level spot on asphalt. Plenty long enough for our 34ft MH and our tow car, 2015 Pathfinder. Lots of room between us and out neighbors. 50A service and water, no sewer but a dump station is onsite. There is a beach at the park and plenty of shopping nearby. We have family nearby in Buford, and we will definitely stay at this park again. We camped at Duckett Mill COE in a Motorhome.
