Vineyard RV Park, Vacaville, California

Date of Stay: March, 2018 - $58.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed for 2 weeks. Had a nice premium back-in site that had some trees and was along waterway behind it. Huge dog park with separate areas for small and large dogs. While there, they just opened a brand new exercise room which was large and had plenty of equipment. Had separate pools for adults and kids. Looks like there is a newer section where all the sites are open, no trees. Close to wine country. We camped at Vineyard RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Pismo Coast Village RV Resort, Pismo Beach, California

Date of Stay: March, 2018 - $52.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed a week. Close to Hearst Castle and the seals. Sites are close together and the row we were in was back to back to another. Backing into site initially was a little tight since vehicles opposite our site. Campground clean and well maintained. Located right near a beach where dogs are allowed so we enjoyed having that option. We camped at Pismo Coast Village RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Cotillion Gardens RV Park, Felton, California

Date of Stay: March, 2018 - $55.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed 10 nights in site 43 which was nice. Site had a wooden deck area which worked out great since it rained half the time we were there. Campground is located in the woods, so lots of shade. Some sites very close together. No satellite available but campground's cable worked good. Campground quiet since not full. Convenient to shopping. We camped at Cotillion Gardens RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

The Californian RV Resort, Acton, California

Date of Stay: February, 2018 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed two times at this campground. Very convenient to highway. Clean and well maintained. Sites are paved and open. Kind of close to your neighbor but not too bad. Didn't use it but pool area was nice. Has a very small exercise room where I only used the treadmill. We camped at The Californian RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Olive Street RV Resort, Vista, California

Date of Stay: January, 2018 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed a month to be able to visit relatives and friends in the area. Campground convenient to shopping and attractions. San Diego about an hour without heavy traffic. Had a nice back in site along the outer perimeter. Center rows would be a little tight. Didn't use their pool but looked nice. Small dog park but fine for our small dog ($5 fee for pets). Great staff, very helpful. We camped at Olive Street RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Usery Mountain Regional Park, Mesa, Arizona

Date of Stay: December, 2017 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed 2 weeks. Loved this campground!! Has only water & electric hookups but their showers were very clean and have a dump station. Most sites spaced far apart. Nice & quiet. Beautiful sunsets. Great trails nearby and also an open air exercise area. Feels like you're far away from the rush but everything you need is only a few minutes away. We camped at Usery Mountain Regional Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Zane Grey RV Park (55+ park), Camp Verde, Arizona

Date of Stay: November, 2017 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed for a month (rate + electric). Very well maintained. Clean restrooms, showers and laundry area. Campground has many trees so if you have satellite be sure to ask for a satellite friendly site. Gravel sites. Saturday mornings have coffee & pastries. We were there around Thanksgiving and held a pot luck for anyone who wanted to attend. Decorated campground for the holidays. No fires allowed at sites but have a community fire pit. They supply the wood, chairs & blankets in case you get cool. Have walking trails nearby and a small dog park. Convenient to town. We camped at Zane Grey RV Park (55+ park) in a Fifth Wheel.

Country Gardens RV Park, Odessa, Missouri

Overall Rating:

Being quiet, they gave us 2 sites (70 & 50) which were double sites so we had a very long site. Clean campground and very friendly staff. Store has a huge variety of food especially cheese. Good wifi. No cable but good selection of channels via antenna. Small dog park but sufficient for our little dog. We camped at Country Gardens RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Old Orchard Campground, Oscoda, Michigan

Date of Stay: October, 2017 - $23.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed 6 nights visiting family. Very nice campground and quiet being the time of year. Not many campers and chose an unreserved site. Only problem was the lack of cell phone and wifi from the site, but able to deal with it. Told that the best location to access both was to drive down to the "point". Went to town library one day to access wifi. Had water & electric but could borrow one of the camp's portable waste tanks to take to their dump station. Great staff, very helpful. We camped at Old Orchard Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Michigan City Campground, Michigan City, Indiana

Date of Stay: October, 2017 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Only stayed one night. The site we were in was way too tight for our 37 foot 5th wheel especially at the angle we had to pull in. Other vehicles made it very difficult to maneuver the RV. Large tree on site didn't help. The entire section near Tent Hill needs to be reconfigured and spruced up a bit. Other sites very messy. Not sure if other sections of the park offered more space? Staff person who checked us in was very pleasant. If we got a site in the 200's, it would have been much better for our RV. We camped at Michigan City Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Double J Campground and RV Park, Chatham, Illinois

Initially booked for 4 nights and extended our stay an additional 2 nights. Campground was quiet because of the time of year. Well maintained. Staff very helpful and pleasant. Sites are long and not super close to each other. Sites in center of park have large trees for shade. Convenient from highway. Very large grassy area for pets (not fenced). Great signage around campground. We camped at Double J Campground and RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Whispering Pines Campground, Newton, New Hampshire

Date of Stay: September, 2017 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

This campground was purchased by new owners maybe a couple of years ago. Nice couple. Sites are okay, nothing fancy. Lot of seasonals. You cannot use your own washer/dryer due to their septic system. Do have washers/dryers on site. Nice pool but we didn't use it. No cable but we were able to use our satellite. Before booking, ask about your site since there are quite a few trees. Quiet overall. We camped at Whispering Pines Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
