Collier Memorial State Park, Chiloquin, Oregon

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Small quiet state park. Sites are mostly level with paved parking, a fire ring and picnic table. Area around site is mostly dirt, gravel and fir needles. Plenty of shade from mature fir and pine trees. Lots of chipmunks scurrying about. When we visited many quests were raising the hood on their vehicle because grey squirrels had allegedly torn up insulation around motors for nesting material. We left our hood closed and had no problem. Expect camp fires to be prohibited during summer months. Nice relaxing stay. We camped at Collier Memorial State Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Sparks Marina RV Park, Sparks, Nevada

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $58.00
Overall Rating:

Easy to find and very close to the lake, marina and park. It's not adjacent, but a relatively easy 1/2 mile walk. Park is well designed with good utility access. Each site has a small astro turf area and shade tree. Landscaping is nice and maintained. There are several small dog off leash areas. They are covered with course sand. If your pooch is accustomed to doing their business on grass, you won't find any. Pool is small, but refreshing. There is construction adjacent and unfortunately the back up alarms and noise started about 6:30. By 7:30 we had to close windows because of the noise. Overall very nice park and worthy of its high ratings. We camped at Sparks Marina RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Bend / Sisters Garden RV Resort, Sisters, Oregon

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Beautiful park. Asphalt roads and parking pads with manicured gardens and grass areas. Brick patio with picnic table. Utilities are laid out very well and easy access. Most sites are pull-through with plenty of room to maneuver. Pool, hot tub, kids play area, putt-putt golf, private fishing lake and small well stocked store. Its all here clean and well maintained. Dogs are restricted to a gravel trail and small enclosed off-leash area. Wet grass and dirt off-leash area is a mess in the making. Trust me! We always enjoy our stay at Bend/Sister Garden RV Resort. We camped at Bend / Sisters Garden RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Burns RV Park, Burns, Oregon

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice family run park. Wide gravel roads with plenty of space on gravel parking pad. Concrete pad for picnic table and wide grassy area between sites. Most have mature shade trees. Grass is well maintained and several sites have large seasonal flower pots. Utilities were easy to access. Free WiFi is slow. Free cable is nice. Located right on a highway, but there was little traffic after 9 p.m. and it didn't increase in the morning until after 7 a.m. Dogs are welcome and there is a large mowed area for them to enjoy. Its fenced on two sides and they are supposed to remain on leash. Mine "escaped" and had a good romp as did several others. Be smart and don't abuse and you shouldn't have any problems. Really a nicely managed and maintained park. We will return! We camped at Burns RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Neat Retreat RV Park, Fruitland, Idaho

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

In my opinion, this is not an RV park, but instead a mobile home park with a few overnight sites. During our one night stay I counted just ten sites that appeared to have RVs that would leave with 24 to 72 hours. The others are long-term residents. The majority of the mobile homes are well maintained. The long-term RVs are a much different story. The restrooms, laundry, showers and garbage receptacles are at the opposite end of the park than the majority of overnight RV sites. Sites have gravel parking area with adjacent grass under mature shade trees. As a dog owner I am always looking for dog friendly parks. Dogs are allowed at Neat Retreat, but the "dog walk" shown on their website is a joke. If you go by the website map the "dog walk" is active railroad tracks. If you give them the benefit of the doubt it's either a gravel parking area or a dirt road adjacent a drainage canal. In either case it is not a designated dog friendly area. This park was a disappointment and we will not return. We camped at Neat Retreat RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Teton Valley RV Park, Victor, Idaho

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $70.00
Overall Rating:

Undergoing major renovation. Construction noise and clutter was not mentioned when making reservations. Roads were muddy and parking area had a large mud puddle (see picture). Sites are narrow with roughly 10' dirty gravel for parking and 15' of unkept grass(?) between sites. Not much room if you have slide outs. Staff was friendly and helpful. Overall we were Not impressed. We camped at Teton Valley RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Village of Trees RV Resort, Declo, Idaho

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice well maintained park. Well graded gravel roads and parking. Wide, well maintained grassy areas between sites. Plenty of mature shade trees. Room for pets and big play area for the kids. Right next to the Snake River. Easy freeway access and we didn't notice any traffic noise. We'll be back. We camped at Village of Trees RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Great Falls KOA, Great Falls, Montana

Date of Stay: May, 2018 - $75.00
Overall Rating:

In need of some TLC! New owners are working hard to upgrade, but the park is in overall poor condition. Roads in older area are overgrown and dusty/muddy. Sites are overgrown and cramped. We stayed in the newer area where there is little shade and the roads are badly potholed. The vegetated areas between sites are mostly weeds, had not been mowed making them essentially unuseable. The fenced dog areas are very small and poorly designed. The mangers are very nice and did give us a discount because not all services were available. Unfortunately there are not a lot of good RV options in Great Falls and hopefully the condition of the KOA will improve. We camped at Great Falls KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Coyote Run RV Park, Connell, Washington

Date of Stay: May, 2018 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Coyote Run RV was a pleasant surprise. Nice clean and well managed park. There are quite few full-time rigs, but they are for the most part well maintained and the people are friendly. Large level gravel parking area with adjacent grass area with small tree. Manager was extremely friendly and helpful. Services nearby and easy freeway access. Freeway noise is noticeable, but not annoying. Nice little park and we will return. We camped at Coyote Run RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Rocky Mountain RV Park, Gardiner, Montana

Date of Stay: May, 2018 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

Within minutes of the North entrance to Yellowstone. Nicely maintained with gravel roads and parking. Small grass areas between sites with some mature shade trees. Beautiful view on the south side of the park. Steep narrow entrance without a lot of room. Small fenced off-leash dog area. Enjoyed our two-day stay and will be back. We camped at Rocky Mountain RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Camp Coeur D'Alene, Coeur d'Alene, Idaho

Date of Stay: May, 2018 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Not suited for big rigs. We have a relatively small 5th wheel (30') and the steeply sloped narrow road with overhanging trees made manuevering a challenge. Sites are flat with dirty gravel and weeds. Facility is under new ownership and they are making upgrades. Nice park for a family tent outing, but not the best option for a large RV. We camped at Camp Coeur D'Alene in a Fifth Wheel.

Osens RV Park & Campground, Livingston, Montana

Date of Stay: May, 2018 - $60.00
Overall Rating:

Nice clean well maintained park. Groomed gravel parkingcareas with small grass areas between sites. Cozy, but not cramped. Narrow road into the facility was not a problem although a couple of the potholes were cavernous! Easy freeway access, nearby services and about an hour from the North entrance to Yellowstone. Very nice fenced off-leash area for your four-legged family members. Staff was friendly and very helpful. We enjoyed our two-day stay at Owen's. Colter Bay Village RV Park -- Full Hookups (Concessionaire Operated) , Grand Teton National Park, Wyoming

Date of Stay: May, 2018 - $60.00
Overall Rating:

Nice park in an excellent location. Narrow roads that could use some TLC. Sites are pull-through and many (most) are sloped creating leveling challenges for some rigs. Gravel parking area with adjacent areas pine needle covered dirt with sparse vegetation. Restrooms were not cleaned during our three day stay. Close to services (fuel, general store and resturaunt). Nearby free Wi-Fi is really slow. Perfect location next to Jackson Lake. Best option we found for full hook-up in Grand Teton NP.
