Rock Port / RiversEdge Campground , Rock Port, Missouri

Date of Stay: September, 2015 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

We were totally satisfied with our stay at the campground. All the hook-ups worked perfectly and were easy to access. Our pull-through site was level and long enough for our 53' total length combination with room to spare. No cable TV, but we received strong on air signals for all networks, and were able to use our DirecTV dish. We had 5 bars of signal from Verizon Extended Network. The attitude of the owners is the true strength of this park. They appreciate their patrons and do everything they can to make your stay pleasant. We will definitely stay here again. We camped at Rock Port / RiversEdge Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Mountain Shadow RV Park and Campground, Iskut, British Columbia

Date of Stay: July, 2015 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

This is one of the prettiest parks in North America. It truly is a jewel in the wilderness. The grounds are manicured, with long pull-through sites, and plenty of room to maneuver any size rig. Staff couldn't be friendlier and more helpful. WiFi is good and reaches all over the park. No cell phone service, or TV. Highly recommend this park. We camped at Mountain Shadow RV Park and Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Fredericksburg VA / Washington DC S. KOA, Fredericksburg, Virginia

Date of Stay: September, 2013 - $46.00
Overall Rating:

A very good campground. It is a few minutes out of town, but it is also very quiet and peaceful. Cable TV was limited, but excellent quality. Wi-Fi worked very well. Verizon cell coverage was poor. Our campsite was level and hook-ups were appropriately placed and easy to access. Sites were close together. Both sunny and shaded sites were available. Lots of things for kids to do. We will stay here again when we are in the area. We camped at Fredericksburg VA / Washington DC S. KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Jonesburg Gardens Campground, Jonesburg, Missouri

Date of Stay: June, 2012 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

Exceptionally friendly and accommodating staff. This has been an outstanding campground in the past, but it is showing its age. It is still a good place to spend a night or two, and depending on which campsite one gets, can be great for a more extended stay. The entrance is junky, and unfortunately, presents a bad first impression. Otherwise, the hook-ups all work well. Wi-Fi works well and all major networks can be received on an antenna. Good Verizon voice and data signal. We camped at Jonesburg Gardens Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Governors' RV Park and Campground, Casselton, North Dakota

Good overnight stop that is close to Fargo. The motel is now a Days Inn. The pull-through sites were level and plenty long enough for any rig. All the hook-ups worked appropriately. The motel staff was friendly and efficient in checking us in. Verizon phone and data signal was sufficiently good. We could pick up all networks on TV antenna from nearby Fargo. We would stay here again. We camped at Governors' RV Park and Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Ship Ashore Resort, Smith River, California

Date of Stay: June, 2012 - $22.00
Overall Rating:

This is a beach-side combination campground/motel/mobile home park. All the hook-ups worked perfectly, and the Wi-Fi was excellent. Cable TV cost extra. Verizon wireless signal was good but not strong. Campground is close to a casino and other shopping opportunities. Staff is friendly and helpful. However, this is an older campground that has long since passed its prime. Facilities are quite old and look pretty rough. Lots of older RVs that are in bad shape and look like they are not lived in regularly. The price is very fair if you just need a place to park for the night with good hook-ups. We camped at Ship Ashore Resort in a Travel Trailer.

This is a fine overnight stop. It is right beside the highway, but there is almost no traffic. The owner is very friendly and helpful. Don't be put off if they don't answer the phone or return calls, they apparently don't do it. Good quality basic hook-ups. No cable TV or Wi-Fi, but very good reception of all networks with antenna. Good Verizon Wireless phone and data signal. This is a place to stop on the way to somewhere else. We would definitely stay here again if coming this way. Cash or checks only. This is a good overnight stop. Manager was very friendly. Hook-ups all worked well. Sites were reasonably level. Wi-Fi was available, but it worked only sporadically. No cable TV, and could only pick up two Oklahoma educational channels on the antenna. Weak Verizon cell phone and data coverage. Quiet even though in sight of I-40. Cash or checks only.
