Walnut Hills Campground (formerly Staunton / Walnut Hills KOA), Staunton, Virginia

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $49.00
Overall Rating:

We have stayed here many times and will be back. We always stay down low in the "field" with no sewer. Not a problem if you plan ahead. Very quiet, well kept and folks in office were good. We camped at Walnut Hills Campground (formerly Staunton / Walnut Hills KOA) in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

To park in lower level "field" which is a great quiet place you will need to enter the park and then come back to field. Same thing when leaving but park is well worth it. Also eat at the German Restaurant about 2 miles away.

Fla-Net Park, Flanders, New Jersey

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $58.00
Overall Rating:

No cable and we were blocked by a tree so no Direct TV. Could only pick up a couple Korean channels on air antenna. Roads had washed some, but folks working a park were great. We had operator error problem with RV and owner and two of his guys helped us get going. They went above the call of duty to help us. I would recommend this park because of the owner and the folks working there. We camped at Fla-Net Park in a Motorhome.

Delaware Water Gap / Pocono Mountain KOA, East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $82.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here for 3 night minimum for weekend prior to 4th of July. Little pricey for this park but understand why for these 2 weekends Close to neighbors but not unbearable. Wifi not good and Verizon not good but we were parked in a hole. n fact entire park down very low. Folks in office very nice but very busy with hayrides pizza etc etc, We enjoyed the three days of rest but too much money for this park. We camped at Delaware Water Gap / Pocono Mountain KOA in a Motorhome.

Shenandoah Valley Campground, Verona, Virginia

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $65.00
Overall Rating:

Seemed to be very full of rigs and full of families. Lot of kids enjoying themselves and many tame rabbits. Was too close for us and we barely had room for RV and car which was unhooked. Good for overnight stay and we stayed there weekend prior to July 4. We camped at Shenandoah Valley Campground in a Motorhome.

This is one of our favorite places to stay. Folks at campground at great. Parking in back in 250-260 area with lots of green for dog to run in. Far enough away from tourists traps but close enough to everything. Great diner down the road, Pilot truck stop within .5 mile and close to Interstate. Santa Rosa RV Resort, Navarre, Florida

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $65.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed at this park during the time the lightening hit the RV mentioned by previous reviewer. It always nice to have emergency contact info on paperwork handed out during check in...maybe it was there ...we did not keep ours. During an emergency its always best to call 911. They were out fixing power poles the following AM. Beautiful park, well kept, everyone friendly...awesome work out area and pool... we will be back We camped at Santa Rosa RV Resort in a Motorhome.
