Cornwall / Charlottetown KOA, Cornwall, Prince Edward Island

Date of Stay: August, 2009 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

After having to find a spot late on a Saturday afternoon due to the lack of honesty of another park, Holiday Haven really stepped up for us. Not only did they find us a spot, at that late notice, they managed to jiggle things around so that we had a great spot right on the River Bank. They were seem to be interested in providing great services to tourists. The office staff were superb! The Park is really well kept and clean. The only downsides are the narrow roads and lack of Wi-Fi at the sites. Would highly recommend this Park! We camped at Cornwall / Charlottetown KOA in a Motorhome.

Vacationland RV Park & Family Campground, Brackley Beach, Prince Edward Island

Date of Stay: August, 2009 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

On reserving a spot, we asked for a place to fit our motor home and one that is Satellite Friendly. They said that there would be no problem. When we arrived, there was no Satellite Friendly site available and with the crowds, there was no site that we could fit in easily. From "no problem" to "nothing available" ... Don't trust these people! We camped at Vacationland RV Park & Family Campground in a Motorhome.

Wine Country RV Resort, Paso Robles, California

Date of Stay: October, 2007 - $52.00

This is a park that has become too upscale in their own minds. We have stayed here before as they were building and now that they have finished, they have lost touch with their customers. They have the temerity to charge 1.00 per night for pets, and yet will allow children under 5 stay for free. I tried to explain that my dog was under 5 and they did not have to build a playground for him, in a kidding tone of voice, and got a really nasty response from the check in girls. Up to this point they had been very nice. Then I ran into the man in the cart who runs around being very brusque with the customers. Wow, I was shocked! I went to the dog run and again wondered why they had the nerve to charge us extra. Will NOT stay here again. There are many places in this delightful area that do not have this attitude. We camped at Wine Country RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Desert Gem RV Resort, Oliver, British Columbia

Date of Stay: June, 2007 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed there for a week in June 07. Found the campsite very clean, sites level and the people incredibly hospitable. The Wifi worked well on our two laptops with no firewall problems. Although the campground is paved, there still are many grass areas available. It is the perfect location to visit the Osoyoos and the Oliver wineries. Given that many of the other campsites in the OK Valley only offer dirt parking and small sites that are often not very level, this one is a breath of fresh air. We would HIGHLY recommend it to anyone who is traveling through this area! We camped at Desert Gem RV Resort in a Motorhome.
