Scandia RV & Mobile Park, Bend, Oregon

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

This is a nice park in the middle of town and a great stop after being in the wilderness for some time. They have a nice dog walk complete with pooper scoopers, bags and trash can. The only issue we had was the site we were supposed to go into had a motor home broken down in it. They waited hours for a repairman then a tow truck. The manager, who I think was the son of the owner, did not make much effort to help them vacate the site. The park was full so we wound up basically camping on the edge of a road next to the maintenance area. There were hook ups because it was a numbered site. Instead of a nice view with trees we got to look at a garage at the nightly full rate. We paid extra for boosted WiFi that was so bad that I just used my hotspot on my phone. The manager just seemed to be unaware of what was going on in the campground. They just need to be more customer focused. We camped at Scandia RV & Mobile Park in a Travel Trailer.

Crater Lake RV Park (AKA Prospect RV Park), Prospect, Oregon

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

This is a lovely campground with huge spaces. It is very well maintained with pretty gardens and benches. The staff go out of their way to make your stay pleaseant. They provided us with a large wooded site, nice picnic table and, if requested, a fire pit for a campfire. The only thing I could say would be for them to boost their WiFi signal otherwise this was a great place to stay. We camped at Crater Lake RV Park (AKA Prospect RV Park) in a Travel Trailer.

Pelican Point RV Park, Half Moon Bay, California

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $75.00
Overall Rating:

We are in smaller travel trailer so we rely on the campsite showers and facilities. I got a call less than 1 day before arrival that they had no laundry or shower facilities. I could not find a place to rebook in this area as I had made my reservations 5 mos ahead of time. I asked for a discount but they refused. The place has very tight spaces that are not really numbered. It is very run down with garbage on the sites. Site was dead, clumpy grass and broken, uneven concrete and stones. They had gardens but they are all overgrown. We were told there was cable TV but there was none on our site. Then, on the last day, I found the hookup buried in the weeds in the garden. The only thing goings for this place were it was next to a golf course and you could walk to the beach. They had a nice place for the dog to relieve itself. This could be a lovely campground. It has the location. It needs its grounds cleaned up. The campsites need new picnic tables and the gardens need to be cleaned up. The campsites need to be repaved. The building they call a bathroom needs a complete face lift in the outside. We camped at Pelican Point RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Red Ledge RV Park, Kanarraville, Utah

Date of Stay: May, 2018 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

This is a great little campground. The lady who runs it keeps it in great shape. The sites are a little tight, but there are covered patios and seating provided. There are pretty garden and a coy fountain to look at. The CG provided gas grills for you to use. There were games like darts and foos ball to play. We camped at Red Ledge RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Camp Washington Ranch, Whites City, New Mexico

Date of Stay: May, 2018 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

If you just want to get away from people this place is great. There are only 3 sites in a very open area. You are camped where they hold events like weddings, so scenery and gardens were beautiful. Great sunsets, pretty grounds that you have to yourself. Only issue was it was a little hard to find. It was just the signage to get to the campground wasn't that good, but we called and they got us there. We camped at Camp Washington Ranch in a Travel Trailer.
