Caliente Springs Resort (55+ park), Desert Hot Springs, California

Date of Stay: February, 2009 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

The pool and spas are very nice, but always very crowded. The facilities are dirty and dated. The bathroom floors must be mopped with the same dirty mop everyday and the walls of the stalls appear to have never been cleaned. However, the front desk personnel are very nice. We are here for 6 weeks, hence the lower rate. We camped at Caliente Springs Resort (55+ park) in a Motorhome.

Yellowstone Grizzly RV Park, West Yellowstone, Montana

Date of Stay: September, 2008 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

I am not sure where all the other reviewers stayed, but obviously my experience was different. We made our reservation for a pull through, over six months in advance and were given a small back in space. It would have required a 45 foot sewer hose to connect, so we did without and had to use the dump. Staff was very pushy and uncaring about their mistakes. Only game in town, so I guess they don't have to care. Restrooms in outer buildings were not clean. We camped at Yellowstone Grizzly RV Park in a Motorhome.

Mountain Ridge Motel and RV Park, Whitehorse, Yukon

Date of Stay: August, 2007 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Owner is very nice and the campground is very clean. However, there is quite a bit of road noise from the Alaska Highway. Sites are very tight so you need to watch your slides, and no awnings are possible. WiFi was down more than up. The water is on a well system and has a very bad odor and taste. We camped at Mountain Ridge Motel and RV Park in a Motorhome.
