Ocala RV Camp Resort, Ocala, Florida

Date of Stay: February, 2008 - $23.00
Overall Rating:

Great location off I-75. Pull through. They are working hard to get Wi-Fi up through-out the park. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We used Passport America for 6 nights. We camped at Ocala RV Camp Resort in a Motorhome.

Woodland Campground, Little Sioux, Iowa

Date of Stay: July, 2007 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

This is a Passport America park and that rate is $10. Very easy access from I-29 and at the end of the exit ramp. Very friendly reception and we were escorted to our site. Many seasonal campers, some rv's are very nice and others a little shabby. Our site was very level and gravel. The park has dirt roads. The pool looked to be clear and clean. We didn't notice highway noise but we did have the a/c on. An OK place to stop when passing through. Would stop in again. Ok for the money. Very large campground with 21 extra sites for rv's. We camped at Woodland Campground in a Motorhome.

Fox Lake Campground, Bemidji, Minnesota

Date of Stay: July, 2007 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Passport America rates are $15.00. These owners worked all day, every day to maintain the park. There are many seasonal campers. We stayed 11 nights and it was completely full one of those nights. We felt the charge for cable and A/C at $3.50 and $3.00 was a little high on top of the $30.00. Wi-Fi worked most of the time. Has a little swimming beach and an area to launch your boat. The lake has great fishing according to people we met. We would stay here again. We camped at Fox Lake Campground in a Motorhome.

Denver Meadows RV Park, Aurora, Colorado

Date of Stay: July, 2007 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

Close to interstate. Located at the end of a mobile home park on what appears to be an old parking lot. Very friendly and helpful staff. We were escorted to our site. It is an old park but everything we needed worked OK. We felt it was pricey for the quality, but maybe not, for Denver during summer vacation season. This is not a resort type campground. It is just a place to park your rv and go off to do other things. We camped at Denver Meadows RV Park in a Motorhome.

Griffin Park, Pierre, South Dakota

Date of Stay: July, 2007 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

Level, gravel sites. Nice pool and playground in this city park. Some people were boating, swimming and inner-tubing in the river. Dump station on site. Fresh water available but it is very hard water. Felt safe. Noisy some nights until 11pm. Would stay again. We camped at Griffin Park in a Motorhome.
