Boston Minuteman Campground, Littleton, Massachusetts

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $55.00
Overall Rating:

Lovely, peaceful campground amid tall pine trees. Clean pool, family friendly, but not noisy. Cable included but scratchy. Good cellular coverage with T Mobile and Verizon. Convenient location to Boston's Historic Sites. Watch the steep entry: seems to have evidence of long trailers scraping the pavement. Would definitely stay here again!! We camped at Boston Minuteman Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

We spent the morning at Minuteman National Park in Lexington, and then Concord. Lovely lunch at Main Street Market, downtown Concord. Took a commuter train to Boston out of Littletown (or Ayers). Nearby Market Basket mall had pizza and frozen yogurt. Kimball Farms is a must do for families: restaurants, ice cream, driving range, bumper cars/boats, batting cage, and the most beautiful putt-putt golf course I have seen. Super friendly staff.

Charlie Brown Campground, Eastford, Connecticut

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

Friendly, very helpful staff moved us to a better site. Family friendly, but not overly crowded or rambunctious. Many friendly seasonal folks. Immaculate grassy fields, with clear brook nearby. Gray dumping at site, but two dumping stations on the way out. T-Mobile coverage, non-existent. Verizon okay. Would definitely come back. We camped at Charlie Brown Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Spent the day in beautiful Mystic, an hour south. Kid friendly aquarium with lots of tactile encounters. Military discount at the aquarium. Beautiful, quaint sea town with lots of shops and restaurants.

New York City North / Newburgh KOA, Plattekill, New York

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $70.00
Overall Rating:

Family campground: lots of activities, pools were packed, putt-putt golf course could use a little love. Our campsite (134) was wooded and perfect. Friendly staff, pets welcome. Quiet hours respected, but daytime was bustling during the day - naturally we are in their peak season. We camped at New York City North / Newburgh KOA in a Travel Trailer.
