Mockingbird Hill RV Park, Burleson, Texas

Date of Stay: March, 2009 - $23.00
Overall Rating:

Paved sites, roads fair, many permanent mobile homes in park and it appears that many of the other campers are people working in the area and staying for extended periods. Management was very friendly and helpful. Wi-Fi was good most of the time. Campground is very close to I-35 so traffic noise was evident. Location is close to shopping and restaurants. We stayed here for a week while doing business in the area. Would stay here again. We camped at Mockingbird Hill RV Park in a Motorhome.

River Ranch RV Resort, New Braunfels, Texas

Date of Stay: March, 2009 - $29.00
Overall Rating:

Very modern campground with all concrete roomy sites. Close to river. Biggest negative was you are parked directly under I-35 and access roads. Noise was loud and constant. We stayed 2 nights because we made reservation by phone prior to arrival. Would look for a quieter campground if we come to New Braunfels again. We camped at River Ranch RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Country House Motel & R V Park, Spooner, Wisconsin

Date of Stay: July, 2008 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Is close to grocery store, laundry, and dollar store with easy access to camp sites. New owners were very helpful however, they did not disclose that there was a $7.00 dump fee if you stayed less than 3 nights. In all of our camping days this is unheard of. We camped at Country House Motel & R V Park in a Motorhome.

Des Moines West KOA, Adel, Iowa

Date of Stay: July, 2008 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Facilities were clean and well maintained. 50 amp sites were very wide and spacious. However, 30 amp sites were half size and very very close. I don't think two campers side by side could both open slide outs. We camped at Des Moines West KOA in a Motorhome.

If this campground had sewer hookups I would have given it a 10. Excellent shower and bathroom facilities. Great view of St Marys river and all of the big boat activity. Close to Soo Locks. We camped at Aune-Osborn Campground in a Motorhome.

Dutch Treat Camping & Recreation, Zeeland, Michigan

Very clean, family friendly. Wifi was nonfunctional most of the time we were there and that could have been because of a storm that passed through the first night we were there. We camped at Dutch Treat Camping & Recreation in a Motorhome.

View of Lake Michigan was great. Gravel sites not extremely level. Bathroom/showers are in desperate need of updating. While we were there the showers did not have hot water. We camped at Lakeshore Park Campground in a Motorhome.

SeaWind RV Resort, Riviera, Texas

Date of Stay: March, 2008 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

Beautiful well kept campground. Extremely friendly and helpful employees. Small lake on premises and State Park next door with fishing pier and boat ramp. Plenty of places to walk and "bird". 20 miles to town and groceries etc. In spite of that would stay there again. Campground lived up to its name 2 of the 3 days we were there. We camped at SeaWind RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Snow to Sun, Weslaco, Texas

Date of Stay: March, 2008 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

We camped here for a week used a coupon from the Texas Assoc of Campgrounds so the price was $100 since we were new to the area we spent all of our days exploring the area and did not use the facilities of the campground extensively. Laundry was very clean and neat. Park has a lot of permanent mobile homes which are very well kept. WiFi was a joke, it was provided by an outside vendor which you paid for online. However, we never did get connected so we used computers in the public library in Weslaco. Location is central to everything in Rio Grande Valley. Would stay again if the WiFi were improved. We camped at Snow to Sun in a Motorhome.

ICW RV PARK, Aransas Pass, Texas

Date of Stay: February, 2008 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

Park is the old city airport with campsites on both sides of the runway with 300' fishing pier at end of runway. Great park for fishing and close to everything in that area. Easy access, close to restaurants, groceries, Wal-Mart and just the right distance from Corpus Christi. We camped at ICW RV PARK in a Motorhome.
