Movietown RV Park, Canton, Mississippi

Date of Stay: October, 2017 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

What a dump! We have been staying here on our way to the Gulf Coast since this park opened. It used to be nice. The only level sites are the ones the residents are on. The spot we ended up on had a pile of shingles, a broken meat smoker, and a bunch of trash. Ever wonder where old, broken down FEMA trailers go? This is it! Just keep driving. It's a shame, because it has the potential if someone would force the residents to clean up their sites, and the owner to level out some sites for the transients. We camped at Movietown RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Liberty Harbor RV Park, Jersey City, New Jersey

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $90.00
Overall Rating:

The park is in a great location to visit NYC. An easy water taxi or other public transportation gets you across the river in no time. It's just a blacktop parking lot, with no bells and whistles. I would have given it higher ratings, but the office personnel are NO HELP whatsoever! I called to get some last minute directions, and I got, "Well how would I know?" Luckily, GPS got us here without their help. The on-site security is excellent and very helpful. Showers are good; wifi is not, but we have our own. We camped at Liberty Harbor RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Niagara Falls KOA, Niagara Falls, Ontario

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $80.00
Overall Rating:

Nice, very clean park. Very level site, but very close to your neighbors. WiFi was just ok. Lots of vehicles lined the streets, making it hard to navigate the streets while pulling in or out of your site. All employees were exceptional! Lots to do if traveling with kids. We camped at Niagara Falls KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Port Huron KOA, Kimball, Michigan

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $73.00
Overall Rating:

The park was very nice. It's a family park, thus loaded with tons of kids on bicycles who pay no attention to RVs coming and going. We had a nice spot with a patio, gas grill, and patio furniture. Lots to do for families. We camped at Port Huron KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Covert / South Haven KOA, Covert, Michigan

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $78.00
Overall Rating:

Nice park. Owner and all employees were extremely nice and helpful. Best part was being able to pick blueberries 30 feet from our trailer. Our site was a premium one, but very sandy, and gravel.

This spot had a nice gas grill and paved patio. NOT WORTH $78 though! We camped at Covert / South Haven KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Battlefield Campground & RV Park (formerly Lookout Mt/Chatt South KOA), Ringgold, Georgia

Not a nice campground. There is nothing level about this park. Very narrow roads, with big potholes and trees right next to the road making turns nearly impossible. We camped at Battlefield Campground & RV Park (formerly Lookout Mt/Chatt South KOA) in a Fifth Wheel.

What a fabulous park. Small, with level concrete sites, palm trees, water to wash your rig, extremely nice personnel. WiFi works good. Short drive to the Gulf, but you always have to make u-turns on the main road to get around. We camped at Emerald Beach RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tallahassee East Campground , Monticello, Florida

Date of Stay: June, 2015 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

This park is in desperate need of serious upkeep. We were told it is a soon-to-be former KOA. Sites were gravel, uneven, grass very high. Lots of old trailers with full timers. Tree limbs are over the road making leaving our site hard to do. My advice - keep on moving down the road - this is not the place for you. Best part - the extremely nice lady in the office. We camped at Tallahassee East Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Fabulous park. We stayed 3 months. Very friendly staff; very dog-friendly park. Our only complaint was the wifi. We stayed in the "historic" section where the sites are much closer together, but they weren't a problem for us. We camped at Riverside RV Resort & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
