Pleasant Hill Campground, Hermon, Maine

Date of Stay: August, 2018 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

I have been staying here for more than 12 years every summer on our trek South in the USA. This campground is my favorite because it is cozy. It's friendly, clean, the owner is fantastic, and they will provide great service for whatever you need. The planes come in on a regular basis which the kids love!!! If you need a nice spot to hang for a few days and enjoy Banjor/Hermon, give these folks the business. As an RV'ER....it is a great spot! We camped at Pleasant Hill Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Pleasant Hill Campground, Hermon, Maine

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

I have been reviewing this campground for 7 years in a row. Now: there are better campgrounds somewhere based on what you want, but this campground has only gotten better every year since I have been reviewing. Better yet: its the only campground I stayed at this year in the USA, based on economics.

The owner is a great guy, who goes all out to make sure his customers are always satisfied. I have never been treated better. The WIFI is not free, but it worked great!

Every campground that offers free wifi: it sucks! So, paying few bucks for good WIFI is not an issue.

I look forward to going back to Pleasant Hill next year: as its our favorite! We camped at Pleasant Hill Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Stonehurst Golf Course & Trailer Park, Moncton, New Brunswick

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here over the Canada Day weekend. It was our first time here. The campground is clean and quite and there is a golf course right here next to the campground, with a driving range. good place to walk, lots of spots for big rigs, easy to get around, lots of tenter spots as well. Staff was very friendly. Play grounds for kids, and you are just outside Moncton, probably a 10 minute drive away from shopping. The WIFI connection was very good. Great campground and we will be sure to stay here again. We camped at Stonehurst Golf Course & Trailer Park in a Travel Trailer.

Freeport / Durham KOA, Durham, Maine

Date of Stay: August, 2014 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

This campground is awesome! The campground is in great shape, the staff were very friendly, and its a really big place. Lots to do for kids and a big open area is there for all kinds of activities. A great spot for big rigs as there are a lot of pull-through sites for easy access. We will definitely be back next year as this is one of the "new great campgrounds" we discovered this year. Eastern Slope Camping Area, Conway, New Hampshire

Date of Stay: August, 2013 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

This is a typical campgound with many different sites available. There are great sites for RV and motorhomes, and tents and popups. Its located in a busy area of New Hampshire so its a great location to navigate from for shopping. All the pull-thru sites are excellent and most other sites are good. For tenters they have shelters at each site so you can do them up as you wish so you can get good coverage in case it rains. We liked our stay there and we definitly will be back. We camped at Eastern Slope Camping Area in a Travel Trailer.

Pumpkin Patch RV Resort, Hermon, Maine

Date of Stay: August, 2011 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

This park is definitely for seniors or adults traveling alone. Its not for kids. It is very quiet and is for travelers who are traveling through the area, or want a quiet stay with people who are older and want to mingle with others there own age. The staff are very friendly and the place is very clean and secure. If you are looking for a place to stay for a night or so, this place is fine. There are no activities here. No firepits at your site; only a central location. The Wi-Fi is good. If you are looking for a quiet place this is perfect. We camped at Pumpkin Patch RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.
