Brown's Millpond Campground, Bishop, California

Date of Stay: August, 2009 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Very clean campground with friendly staff. Able to ride offroad vehicles straight out of the campground onto 100's of miles of trails. County park next door with pond, tennis courts, and playground. We camped at Brown's Millpond Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Dinkey Creek Recreation Area, Shaver Lake, California

Date of Stay: August, 2007 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

This is a great place if your okay with dry camping. Sites are very spacious and setting is gorgeous. The only reason it didn't get 10 stars was that the closest dump station is 15 miles away at Edison Campground. The river is wonderful for fishing and play. Very clean campground. We camped at Dinkey Creek Recreation Area in a Travel Trailer.

Campland On The Bay, San Diego, California

Date of Stay: August, 2007 - $75.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice park for a family. The campground was very kid oriented with many planned activities. Sites were very close together, but with good neighbors it posed no problem. High prices for the site space, but many things to do in the campground, and you cant beat the location. We camped at Campland On The Bay in a Travel Trailer.

The camping atmosphere was great with the ocean waves in the background and the occasional train passing by. Overall the campground was clean and quiet. Close to shopping and Santa Barbara. We camped at Carpinteria State Beach in a Travel Trailer.
