Milton/Madison SE KOA (formerly Hidden Valley RV Resort & Campground), Milton, Wisconsin

Date of Stay: August, 2012 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

We camped here last year, rate reflects a Good Sam discount, and enjoyed every minute of our stay. We found the staff to be very friendly. I was disappointed the Wi-Fi did not work. I did ask the young lady at the desk and she admitted Tengo-Internet had not been very helpful resolving their problem. I figured there was not enough bandwidth for the number of prospective users, even though the park wasn't full during the week. This is the best park, in my opinion, in this area and we will stay here again. We camped at Milton/Madison SE KOA (formerly Hidden Valley RV Resort & Campground) in a Fifth Wheel.

Little Vineyard RV Park & Resort, Deming, New Mexico

Date of Stay: November, 2011 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Very friendly staff and the cheapest propane I have encountered. The site was plenty long but there isn't much room between sites. All sites are gravel and it is dusty. We stayed one night. The rate was Good Sam. We camped at Little Vineyard RV Park & Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Santa Rosa Campground & RV Park, Santa Rosa, New Mexico

Date of Stay: November, 2011 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

The drive through sites are ok: but they weren't big enough to park the truck in front of the camper, and there isn't a lot of room at the site. The sites are small. The cable TV was not very good: very fuzzy and no digital channels at all. We stayed one night. We might stay again if we can't find anything else in the area. We camped at Santa Rosa Campground & RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Corral Drive-In RV Park, Guymon, Oklahoma

Date of Stay: November, 2011 - $14.00
Overall Rating:

The rate is for Passport America. We experienced the mud from some snow but that is expected for a park that is less than a year old. The owners are very enthusiastic and I see a great park in a couple of years. We stayed two nights and will stay again when in the area. We camped at Corral Drive-In RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Crossroads RV Park, Mount Pleasant, Iowa

Date of Stay: July, 2011 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

This is a nice park, but the cost is a bit high for no pool. The Wi-Fi is good but unless you are visiting relatives in the area you will drive a few miles to visit historical or other interesting sites. It is a great over night stop. We were visiting relatives etc., in the area. We will stay here again when we do our visits. We camped at Crossroads RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Hollywood Casino Hotel & RV Resort, Joliet, Illinois

Date of Stay: July, 2011 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

This park would be great if they had sewer, there is a dump. It is a great one nighter. If you want to go to the casino it is a short walk or they will come and get you. I think the cost is a bit high for no sewer but the convenience is great. We stayed in a pull through, back in is $25. We camped at Hollywood Casino Hotel & RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Elkhart Campground, Elkhart, Indiana

Date of Stay: July, 2011 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed 21 days. The only problems we had was the water line broke at one of the campsites in our area, they had it fixed the same day. The only other problem I found was when all the sites in our line were full my electric meter in the coach was right on the red/green line, on the low side. It was very hot and muggy during our stay which I am sure attributed to the situation. We were never without power though. We will stay here again when in the area. We camped at Elkhart Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Tower Campground, Sioux Falls, South Dakota

Date of Stay: May, 2011 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here while getting our South Dakota licenses etc. They have a rate of $25 per night for folks dealing with Alternative Resources for mail forwarding etc. We had heard bad things about the campground from some friends but knew we would be there only two nights. The management has changed and they are expanding the campground into part of the mobile home park. As the lease is up on the mobile home sites the mobile homes are being moved and campsites built. It is still in the building stages but in a couple of years it will be a nice park. We will definitely stay there again when in the area. We camped at Tower Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Super 8 Motel / R & R Campground & RV Park, Mitchell, South Dakota

Date of Stay: May, 2011 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

This is a nice campground. It is just off the interstate but the noise didn't bother our sleeping at all. We saw only one train on the tracks next to the campground and it did not blow it's horn when going by the park. The sites are wide enough to get good separation but not if you were going to stay for the summer. Our rate was low because the office and facilities were not open yet, they were just getting the park ready for the season. We stayed five days visiting family in the area. It is a Passport America and Good Sam park. We will stay there again when in the area. We camped at Super 8 Motel / R & R Campground & RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Lake Park Campground, Rapid City, South Dakota

Date of Stay: May, 2011 - $47.00
Overall Rating:

This is an older park, the sites are gravel but level. We have a 38' 5th wheel and we fit in the site with room to park the truck and room to spare. The sites are close together. The staff was very friendly. The Wi-Fi was terrific but we were parked right next to the office. Our son was in a lodge about a block from the office and was able to connect to the Wi-Fi. The park was a block from a large city park which we made use of for our daily walks. We would stay here again if the occasion presents itself. We camped at Lake Park Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Mitchell KOA, Mitchell, South Dakota

Date of Stay: May, 2011 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

The campground had just opened so there were only a couple other campers in the campground. The park looked well maintained and the host was very pleasant and helpful. We paid $39.83, I believe the base was $37 plus tax. We would stay there again if the need arises. We camped at Mitchell KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Azalea Acres RV Park, Robertsdale, Alabama

Date of Stay: December, 2010 - $28.00

We stayed one night on our way to Sarasota. It is an adult campground kids can visit and stay no more than two weeks. Easy on/off from I-10. We would stay again if the opportunity arises. We camped at Azalea Acres RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
