Sunrise Campground, Bozeman, Montana

Date of Stay: August, 2018 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Our daughter and granddaughter live in Bozeman where there are very few RV parks available. Sunrise is close to the east side of town with quick access to the freeway. The owners are very nice and the park and facilities are always clean. Road and train noise is a concern. We will stay here on two separate visits this summer and likely will stay in the future. We camped at Sunrise Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Bozeman is close by to many southwest Montana designations. Yellowstone park, Lewis and Clark caverns, Virginia City, and more are all day trips that take a long day to visit. Yet you can enjoy Bozeman, MSU, and the museum of the Rockies right here. I love the bison patty melt at "Al Works" which is ten minute drive from the park. The wait for a table on a busy night can be much longer.

Rocky Mountain Hi RV Park & Campground, Kalispell, Montana

Date of Stay: August, 2018 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

Great rv park off of quite country road. Very little road or train noise compared to most. Staff has been very friendly and helpful.. We have stayed this summer and last summer for over a month each time. The rv park is always busy with activities for kids. Easy access to bike/walking path. We camped at Rocky Mountain Hi RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

It is close to Glacier national park but it still takes a full day to visit Glacier. Visit Glacier Park; plan for the day. Karaoke Friday nights at 8, and dancing each Saturday night starting a 7 at the Kalispell Eagles. The Blue Moon is a Great country western bar on the road just ten miles north. Hike at Forrest Service access trail heads instead of Glacier Park as they will be less crowded. Bigfork to the south has a wonderful summer playhouse. Enjoy local cherries and huckleberries in late July early August.
