Salem Campground & RV's, Salem, Oregon

Date of Stay: September, 2018 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

Was in transit and stayed at this park for a couple nights. OMG this place is unbelievable! Located behind a Home Depot in the creepiest place you can imagine. I've read enough other comments about dirty, close sites, so I'll write about the people wandering around, residents and the cats! Take a look at photos I posted! We are full time RVers and never have we had "partying people (residents) that we had to confront. The little trailer across the dirt road from us kept us up all night even after we shouted to them out our window to please be quiet at 2:00 am. Their response was laughter! People wander through this area that don't live there and must be 30+ cats roam through. When I brought these concerns up to the young man at the desk the next day, his comment was "yeah, I know it's bad". Don't even consider staying at this park! We camped at Salem Campground & RV's in a Fifth Wheel.

Grant County Fairgrounds RV Park, John Day, Oregon

Date of Stay: September, 2018 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Overall this was a nice quiet park. Site 10 was a back with 50 amp and full hookups. There are old, tall trees that are well kept. Satellite TV reception was good. Grounds were gravel but level. The park sits on the fair grounds. The bathrooms and showers are a fair walk away from the park and require $5.00 to use shower. There were local children playing around the bathrooms. The town of John Day is a small quaint town with small shops. The John Day river is directly behind park and great for fishing even though not great for us catching fish! Prices were a little expensive in town. Nice park that we would stay at again. We camped at Grant County Fairgrounds RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Fish House Inn and RV Park, Dayville, Oregon

Date of Stay: September, 2018 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

This RV park is awesome! Beautiful, manicured lawns with large trees but able to get satellite with no problem. The owners are charming and keep this park immaculate. Very small park that is located in charming little town and be sure to visit ice cream shop next door for best ice cream ever! Spaces are very large and all back in. No problem for our 40' 5er. A definite must visit place! We camped at Fish House Inn and RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
