You will not find a better state park anyplace - simple as that. Huge sites, spotless restrooms, very well maintained in total.

This is a great park. Well kept up and staff & volunteers simply the best you will find anyplace. The WiFi continues to be an issue as it has in the past but the are going thru a massive upgrade on it. We were there a month and going back for 6 weeks a year from now.

Been here 3 times; this time for 4 nights. Previous comments were about WiFi - worked as good as 90% of other places we have stayed and was not Tengo internet. And about no signage coming south. The sign that says "RV" must have letters 3 feet high so hard to miss! We had probably the best site in the place but I reserved long ago. Staff is great and the place overall is great. Would definitely stay here again and recommend it.

Other than site quite unlevel side to side, the RV park was ok to pretty good. Just not impressed with the rest of the facilities; the restaurant and the common areas. Did not use the restrooms. Would probably look elsewhere if we needed another overnight in the area.

We have been here three times in a pull thru. Were there 4 nights this time. Uneven side to side (2 blocks) but nicely in the trees. We don't use sat so no big deal there. They did not hand out any info on the park so did not know they even had tv - but not that important to us. WiFi was off and on but they told me that upfront before taking my $4 / day. Would surely stay there again.

This is a great place and we have been here a few times over the last 10 years - great stop for us when going to or coming from OR Coast from Tucson area. And we have seen it grow. And done so well. Nothing fancy but just all well maintained and clean. Did not eat there but sure looked good. Have seen it add 9 holes on the golf course - I can't play anymore, unfortunately, due to hiking fall / shoulder reconstruction. Laundry is small but clean. And nice people as well.

Price does not include $8 registration fee. One of the most beautiful places we have ever stayed. Creek and river there with wonderful walking trails. Did not use or even see the restrooms so cannot comment. Absolutely LOVED the beauty of the place. The logging museum across the road with the old cabins and all the history just blew our minds. Acres of things to see and so well done and clean and nice. Amazing place; can spend an hour or two or days. Two downsides to the campground. They want you to use the dump station when leaving, if possible, to avoid spillages at the sites. However, it is a pull thru on the LEFT as you leave! Never have seen anything like that, ever. And no way to swing around into or out of it. Second, the area where you pull in to check in with the hosts. The road is narrow and they line up to come in. If you want to exit you have to wait as there is no room to get by. (I had to wait 15 minutes one time). But would go back there in a heartbeat.

This was number 171 of RV parks we have stayed - many more than once. We were very pleased with this park. First off, we found the people here to be amongst the friendliest of any place we have ever stayed. The staff and the many permanent residents in particular. Very clean park, Wi-Fi was great, TV had huge amount of channels. The laundry room was outstanding. Had to get the truck receptacle for the 5th wheel fixed before we could move on and the camp host recommended a place (who also were exceptional and all cleared up). He recommended the right place. I would have given them a 10 but I don't give out 10s - but this is a very high 9.

Rate is based on week stay. Others have said OK, just OK and scruffy. And I would fully agree with that. Lack of upkeep in the site areas to be sure. Lots of permanent / long term residents it would appear with usual "storage" all around. Site was long gravel. BOTH the north and south exit roads from the pull-through sites are blocked at one end as they have put permanent resident sites in there. So you have to back up from the end (north side is a gravel road) to get your rig to pull out - this could be a couple hundred feet or more on the north pull-throughs. TengoInternet had major issues they could not resolve in spite of my conversations with them. I would have given them a 6 but the office staff just laughed when I asked them about the backing up to get my 5er.

Pretty much a large parking lot with not much for any kind of amenities; but that is fine with us. Lots of fishermen and it kinda smelled fishy...hey, it is fishing season! Laundry is very, very good. Staff is very good. Would stay there again.

This a wonderful RV park in a beautiful setting and convenient to town and beaches. On a hill side to some degree so we had a little leveling side to side - no big deal. Campfires are allowed so it can be smoky. And people will be people and be loud. We never had a problem with smoke or noise when quiet hours went into effect. Staff is great. God willing we will be back here again.

The park itself was clean and our pull-through site was spacious. The laundry was very, very clean but had only one table for people to use. Although the buildings were factory built buildings (one still had a trailer tongue coming out of it) they were all clean and very well kept up - as was the whole park. However, I do have a problem with people who are not upfront and honest. It related to the Wi-Fi which I need for business / personal reasons. All they did was blame my "faulty computer" but yet we find out they have had issues for a long time with many people. Basically, I could not get access for the entire time (5 days) we were there. But yet this computer has worked hundreds of places in many states and offshore. The computer people who they said I should contact to address it agreed it was Brookhollow fault. One of the Brookhollow employees admitted they have a lot of problems and not my issue. But managers put blame on my computer. Many RV parks have slower - at times - Wi-Fi and most of us accept that. But never completely not operation and denying responsibility. ANY RV park should provide the services they advertise.

The park was clean and lots of spacing in the sites. My major complaint was the lack of consideration for ALL guests. They had a movie night and the sound could be darn near heard into the next county. Then came a rally and basically they took over the place with their activities and gatherings and noise. We just wanted some nice peace and quiet after hiking, etc.

This is #169 of the number of different parks we have stayed in (have kept a log book for 16 years part timing) and ranks certainly in the top 3 - maybe the best. It is pricey but can justify it just based on the beauty and staff and all. Interesting - and something we have never seen - is that when you are escorted to your site the person then has a small clipboard with a sheet and checklist of things to go over with you. And they do each one very thoroughly. Hookup pedestals are extra classy even. Only three things on the downside - WiFi is marginal, even in the middle of the night or early morning, etc; the hot tub is a lukewarm tub (we hike a hot tub after hiking); and they have five American flags on tall poles (and God bless them for that) but they were all frayed and torn - big no no for a class place like this. Other than those things, this is a very class place.

We had an overnight here - it was large with many big trees and, as said, huge sites with picnic table and all. Well kept up and very nice people. No fancy amenities but we could care less about that! Definitely recommend it for overnight - or longer if you are going to be in the area.
