This is our 4th stay here and it just has continued to improve over the years - really a nice park. Laundry is very small but spotless and we always use it. Highly recommend this as an overnight or few days - can't golf anymore due to shoulder surgery but course looked quite nice.

Others say it very well. Our semi concrete pad was broken up as well and roads are narrow getting in and all of the site. Fuel was very fair priced but store was very expensive ($2.50 for a one liter of soda / pop as example). Needs owner maintenance as rules for resident site maintenance.

This is a repeat park for us - we love it. Had site B-05 which is a long pull thru and is great. The park is heavily and beautifully wooded. Roads and sites can be a bit tight and, as a neighbor found out when pulling in, the trees don't move! The trails along the stream and river are great. Only downside is that it is / can be dusty dirty.

Nice park - have stayed here in the past as it is a great place to do laundry amongst other things ( but not cheap). Younger woman in the office was so talkative on the phone I had to wait 10+ minutes to check in. Paid and all and she told me the site. No instructions or even a map until I asked for it. All other staff were great. As said, the small spaces between the sites were dead grass and dead bushes. And same all around the common areas in the park.

Good site but people on one side were so close their firepit and table were right next to our hookups and slides - we got lots of smoke. But trains are constant and very loud. We asked what the hot tub temp is kept and told 104; this is perfect. We go on a hike, come back and change and head to the hot tub. It did not appear clean but we chose to use it anyhow - temp could not have be even 80. wife is a lifelong swimmer and swimming instructor (in the past)....she knows temps! Went to the office and told them and they just shrugged their shoulders.

This was our 4th time here. The Manager is a wonderful, hard working lady - as are the staff members. Sometimes requests are not well addressed but we did not have anything major....if major I know it would be addressed promptly. They are packed full during the high season. It is very shady at the sites...very nice. They are working on more upgrading. WiFi was pretty much standard for an RV park; not great but seems it always got better once the server came out and "tweaked and re-booted" it. God willing, we will make the trip one more time before we have to forego our rv travel - now in the 19th year part time. It is a long way from AZ!

It is a beautiful and well kept up park to be sure. Lots of kept up grass areas and right along the beautiful Columbia River; got some great photography. We had no shade until very late in the day in our pull-thru site - to not recommend site 16 if it is going to be warm / hot. Pull-thru's were adjoining very tightly and roads narrow and I had to ask next down the line to please take his tow vehicle out so I could pull out when leaving and back-in across the way was so short the to vehicle hung out right to the road. And they do not enforce the dog rules; lots of dogs running loose. We kept ours leashed as we always do. But would certainly come back.

Those of you who know me on here know I do not give a 10 as no place is perfect! :-) That being said, I would give this wonderful place a 9.9 for sure. It is clean and just wonderful. Owner and the staff cannot be beat. Of the now 182 different RV parks we have stayed at, it is definitely in the top 10 for sure; maybe top 5 (can't rely on memory so well anymore).

We were just here overnight but all seemed pretty good. We don't like dogs running loose (he is "friendly") as we fully abide by leash and pickup rules everyplace with ours. I would certainly recommend Anderson Camps but really don't have much to add!

We have stayed here many times passing thru for day trip to Zion. Wim & Thea are wonderful and really work very hard to keep the place up. Would highly recommend it.

We use Distant Drums a lot as it is a perfect distance for us for first or last night out. Sometimes we use it for going to Sedona for a few days. They had had some issues a while back and they have addressed them and are working on others. But our stay was great and the staff super.

This is a nice place that we stay in when in Phoenix for day or two. It is convenient to Mayo (they give 10% discount if you are going there). Nice long pull thru. Wonderful indoor pool and hot tub. Laundry is very good as well. It has lots of long term people and single wides, etc. But clean and nice.

First of all, I used to give this RV park a very high 9 and lots of compliments; we have stayed there many times as it is, amongst other things, a perfect place for first and last nights out when going that way. And it continues to be extremely well kept up on the grounds. But lots of issues going on with our stay there now – water heaters out for bathrooms (which we do not use anyhow) and laundry. Some washers and dryers not working. A very sassy woman at the desk who I and others had issue(s) with. Very, very disappointed and, before deciding not to go back I thought and email to the Manager – it was her first day there the day we were leaving and I did not want to “dump” on her as a welcoming present. I got a wonderful email back from her and compensation for a future visit. She said the new water heaters are in, the washers and dryers fixed and they threw a thank you party for the guests for their appreciation of bearing with them. And, “Sassy” was let go within a few days after this new manager took over. She implied more positive changes to come. And I believe her. It think back to my marketing days of something we always said, “It is not how the cart got off the path, it is how it gets back on and moving the right direction.” Time will tell, of course, but I feel confident Distant Drums will soon be back to the wonderful place it was. Yes, we will go back (and would have even without the compensation; just based on her cordial and specific email). My rating is toned down because of the experience but feel confident it will be back up there with plaudits after our next visit. For the record, the laundry is open from 6am until 10pm and every site we have ever seen is level.

We have stayed at Trailer Village several times over the years and love it. It is far better now with asphalt sites as opposed to the old gravel ones. However, you would have thought they would have leveled the sites before laying the asphalt. Most sites are very uneven; we had to have 3 blocks under the left tires. Staff is excellent. Trailer Village is convenient to the Marketplace (can walk) or the shuttle stops right there as well. Certainly hope we can return again (am a serious / professional photographer s0 take MANY pictures). We love the Grand Canyon South Rim where you can see the vast expanse of this wonder - go all the way west to east!

We use them a lot as an overnight; have stayed longer in the past. Pull thru sites are close and kinda overlap on entry and exit. And close - stepped off my bottom step and almost hit my head on neighbor's not wide slide. Laundry small (2 and 2) but clean.
