Berwagana, Vassar, Michigan

Date of Stay: June, 2011 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

This is a friendly campground with many seasonal and permanent residents. There are sites available for daily camping as well. The showers and restrooms were clean. The sites were small but maintained. The pond has a lot of weeds so it's not pretty looking but the water is fine for swimming. There are quite a few activities for kids to keep them entertained and the campground even has a little shed (library) full of books. It is close to Frankenmuth and the outlet mall which was nice also. We camped at Berwagana in a Travel Trailer.

S.C.I.T. Campground (The Hill), Mt Pleasant, Michigan

Date of Stay: June, 2011 - $17.00
Overall Rating:

This is one of the worst campgrounds I have ever been to. The restrooms and showers were not serviced except for adding toilet paper when needed. We couldn't even use the showers they were so filthy. The sites were OK but nothing special. There are no activities for families except for the pool. The administrative staff is not helpful at all and act like they have no clue. We will not be camping here again. We camped at S.C.I.T. Campground (The Hill) in a Travel Trailer.

Alum Creek State Park, Delaware, Ohio

Date of Stay: August, 2007 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

The campground has some really nice sites with lots of trees and privacy. I was not very happy with the restrooms. There is no soap to wash your hands, the sinks had dead bugs in them, and the showers were plugged so that water collected around your ankles as you showered. The toilets were not very clean either. I am not anxious to return any time soon. We camped at Alum Creek State Park in a Tent Trailer.
