We stayed 2 nights in this park. Owners are very friendly. We stayed on the river. Next time we will probably stay back in the trees as there is more shade. A dog run is in the future plans for the park. We will definitely stay here again if we are in the area. We camped at Sky Mountain Resort RV Park in a Motorhome.

Ardmore / Marietta Campground, Marietta, Oklahoma

Date of Stay: June, 2009 - $31.00
Overall Rating:

We stopped for an overnight stay because this campground was just off of I35. However, we were met with a "FOR SALE" sign at the entrance. The person who checked us in was friendly and helpful. The condition of the hookups are marginal at best. It appears that there are several permanent campers here. We would probably stay again, but not for more than one night. We camped at Ardmore / Marietta Campground in a Motorhome.

Paradise Lake Resort, Nacogdoches, Texas

Date of Stay: August, 2007 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

As I understand it, this park has just changed ownership and new owners are getting accustomed to managing the park. Site was level and spacious, but no shade (although we were told that before we arrived). The Wi-Fi was intermittent and the staff had no knowledge of Wi-Fi. Restroom, shower were dirty. No grills, fire rings or picnic tables. Road entering the park, full of potholes. 15 acre lake was pleasant. Lots of turtles, some geese and fish seen. The electric power was low - 108-110 volts most of the time. We camped at Paradise Lake Resort in a Motorhome.

Beaver's Bend Resort Park, Broken Bow, Oklahoma

Date of Stay: April, 2007 - $18.00
Overall Rating:

I was disappointed that we could not reserve a spot at this park. There are activities for all ages, providing you have a vehicle to drive to them. Folks seem to like these parks as they are usually full, even with no sewer connections. We probably won't go back because the few full hookup sites cannot be reserved. We camped at Beaver's Bend Resort Park in a Motorhome.

Lake Medina RV Resort, Lakehills, Texas

Date of Stay: March, 2007 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

We have wintered at Lake Medina RV Resort for 3 years now and will be going back again this winter. The first time we visited there, we came for 2 weeks and stayed 2 months. This is a family owned park - and the residents are one big family. The owners live on site and go the extra mile. During the winter months there are organized activities, i.e. games, bingo, poker night, pot luck dinners and other special events. There are picnic tables at all sites. Volleyball court, basketball goal, group shelter, pool, hot tub, all well kept and available. We camped at Lake Medina RV Resort in a Motorhome.
