Kings Mountain State Park, Blacksburg, South Carolina

Date of Stay: July, 2007 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

The park was very nice. We never did see a ranger, but had already payed via the website, so just got our site. We left and came back to a locked gate. Had to go to the ranger station to get the combo to the gate. There are a lot of bath houses and the one closest to us was clean. This would be a great place to spend a week, lots to do there. We will be going back. We camped at Kings Mountain State Park in a Motorhome.

Merced River RV Resort, Delhi, California

Date of Stay: July, 2007 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

The sites were close together, so close we could not have a fire. The pool was not as clean as it should be and the area around the pool looked like a dump. Other than the pool area the rest of the campground was fairly well maintained. The bathrooms were old, outdated, and needed some bleach. We camped at Merced River RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Antelope Valley Fairgrounds, Lancaster, California

Date of Stay: July, 2007 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

This park is appropriately name an RV Park. To the best of my knowledge this is the only campground in Lancaster, CA. It is windy but it is in the middle of the Mojave desert which happens to be very windy. The bathrooms were clean and there are ample hookups at 50 Amps, which is especially important in the desert. Not the greatest campground, but certainly a great place to park if you are in the area. We camped at Antelope Valley Fairgrounds in a Motorhome.
