Westward Ho Campground, Nashville, Indiana

Date of Stay: April, 2014 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Owner is a unbearable. Avoid at all cost. Broken concrete everywhere, picnic tables broken. This is the lowest class place we have ever stayed at. I have no idea how he is still in business, other than location for shopping in Nashville. Worst camping experience in my 40 years of rving. We camped at Westward Ho Campground in a Motorhome.

Sunny Brook RV Resort, South Haven, Michigan

Date of Stay: August, 2011 - $51.00
Overall Rating:

Nice clean newer RV park. Sites are nearly level. Rules are overlooked for the "regulars" but others must follow closely. The "lady" working here should run a boot camp and not a campground, horribly rude! It's a shame, because CG is nice and so is area, but we will not return here due to some of their staff. We camped at Sunny Brook RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Versailles State Park, Versailles, Indiana

Date of Stay: September, 2009 - $26.00
Overall Rating:

A nice campground with spots well spaced. Great bike trails and hiking trails along with a nice lake. Would prefer water and sewer sites, but overall very nice. Only downfall is paying $7 to get into the park and then paying for your nightly camping rate also. We camped at Versailles State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Follow the River RV Resort, Florence, Indiana

Date of Stay: September, 2009 - $44.00
Overall Rating:

Nice, new park with full hookups at every site. Generally a nice group of respectful people here that are quiet and well behaved. Would like to see more activities for kids such as mini-golf or something. Only negative is the price: we would go here more, but it's expensive. We camped at Follow the River RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Starve-Hollow SRA, Vallonia, Indiana

Date of Stay: August, 2009 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Nice campground: we stayed in the full hookup section for 4 nights and enjoyed our stay here. We had heard the lake and beach was nice, but it was horrible. We would not allow our young children near the lake: it was full of moss and bird feathers near the beach and smelled horrible. If they would take care of and clean the lake, this would be a 9 campground, but the lake is a mess. We don't plan on returning here. We camped at Starve-Hollow SRA in a Travel Trailer.

Whitewater Memorial State Park, Liberty, Indiana

Date of Stay: August, 2009 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Nice campground and OK sites, but wow, the hillbillies are out in this park. I have never seen so many drunk people setting off fireworks in my life. The DNR workers would drive right by the people with their radio so loud at midnight and just wave at them??? It's pretty bad when the police are called on both nights that we were here and people left in an ambulance. I even yelled at one of workers (DNR), that were driving so fast through the CG it put the kids in danger. Not sure if it was drunk fest weekend or what, but beware if you visit here. We will not return. If this CG was better managed it would be a nice park. We camped at Whitewater Memorial State Park in a Motorhome.

Bowling Green KOA, Bowling Green, Kentucky

Date of Stay: June, 2009 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

We used this as an overnight stop while passing through. We were told we had a level pull through site. We arrived late and found our site to be anything but level. Not wanting to wake others up, we just parked, not level to sleep for a few hours. We are not sure we will stay here again. We camped at Bowling Green KOA in a Motorhome.

Follow the River RV Resort, Florence, Indiana

Date of Stay: September, 2008 - $39.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice new park. Sites are set up well and a minor amount of leveling is needed. Pool is very small for a CG of this size. Need more shade trees or landscaping however I would believe this will come with time. Hope to see this park do well, we will return. We camped at Follow the River RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Renfro Valley RV Park, Mount Vernon, Kentucky

Date of Stay: August, 2008 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

OK for an overnight stop which is what we did. We were in the new section, no trees at all, just a gravel parking lot with hookups. I would return here for an overnight stop however wouldn't make this a destination. Very close to I-75. We camped at Renfro Valley RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Nice CG will well spaced sites for this area. We had a super site which was nice, however there wasn't any shade. Not sure I would pay the extra next time. Very clean grounds and appears to be a well run park. We will stay here again when in the area. We camped at River Plantation RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

This campground is going down hill. The management staff is poor and the dust is horrible. We live close to this cg and it used to be nice for a weekend, but now we will not return. We camped at Little Farm On The River LLC in a Motorhome.

Versailles State Park, Versailles, Indiana

Date of Stay: July, 2008 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice park with sites that give you plenty of room. We camp here several times per year. Wish they would install water hookups at sites. Only drawback is that after paying $25/night to camp, you still have to pay $7 to get into the campground/park on the weekends. We camped at Versailles State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Jellystone / Lake Monroe , Bloomington, Indiana

Date of Stay: July, 2008 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Newer park with no shade. Our sewer hookup was uphill from our site which doesn't work out too well. Grass was in bad need of mowing. Nice pool, miniature golf needs work. Close to lake Monroe. Good water pressure on sites. Not sure we would stay here again. We camped at Jellystone / Lake Monroe in a Travel Trailer.
