Chincoteague Island KOA, Chincoteague, Virginia

Date of Stay: October, 2018 - $68.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice clean campground. Last time we stayed it was Maddox family campground. It has been updated greatly. We didn't use the bathhouses, but did look in them. They we're very nice, and clean. They always have activities planned. They have a water park which is not included, but available at a discounted rate. They only negative is the sites are tight, and close. The sites are just long enough for our trailer by itself. You have to park the tow vehicle next to the trailer. We camped at Chincoteague Island KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Oak Grove Park, Hatfield, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: October, 2018 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice RV park. This is not a campground. It was very clean, and quiet. Mobile home Park in the back, and RV park in the front in a Oak Grove hence the name. Full hook-ups worked perfectly. Cable, and telephone available for long term. Roads are paved with street lights. Spots are gravel, and level. Park has a lot of long term campers which are very friendly, and happy. Has some road noise from the road out front, but not bad. They do allow campfires in above ground fire rings, but you have to bring your own. Very nice quiet overall park. It is close to nearby stores. Only about 30 minutes from King of Prussia. About 15-20 minutes from Doylestown, and Delaware Valley University. We stayed here to visit our daughter who is attending Del Val. Don't hesitate to stay here if visiting the area, or just passing through. Staff was more than great, and very friendly. We will be back. We camped at Oak Grove Park in a Travel Trailer.

Loose Caboose Campground, Kinzers, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: September, 2018 - $57.00
Overall Rating:

Nice location. Nice big spaceous spots. Spots are on a hillside in the woods, which is nice. The only reason I gave it 3 stars is because the water was temporarily run from a hose from another site, and the 50 amp didn't work. Owner's are very nice, and will go out of their way to help you, and make things right if a problem arises. The packet of area attractions they give you on arrival is amazing, and thick. This place has a lot of long term campers. The campers are very nice, just the majority of spots are long term. The downside is the campground is in need of renovation. It is clean, and has a lot of potential just needs some sprucing up. The roads have plenty of room, but be for warned this place is on the side of a hill. I had to put my truck in 4x4 to back into one spot. Owner will help spot you if needed. All in all they are making upgrades, and it is nice, and quiet family owned campground! We camped at Loose Caboose Campground in a Travel Trailer.

White Oak Campground, Strasburg, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: August, 2018 - $57.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed at White Oak for our first trip in our camper. We have a 38' travel trailer, and had no problem getting in, and out. We had a nice pull through site. It was fairly level side to side, buy was sloped pretty slightly front to back. The sites were gravel. It rained pretty good on the day of arrival, but no problems. (one advantage to the sight being sloped I guess). The sites were well shaded. Very clean campground, and restrooms. Very nice, and friendly staff. Well stocked store. Very nice pool. There is a auction house next store with a snack bar with great food. An Amish girl comes on Saturday with fresh baked goods. Close to nearby attractions. Don't hesitate to stay here, as it's very nice, and we will come back. We camped at White Oak Campground in a Travel Trailer.
