French Camp RV Park Resort & Golf Course, Manteca, California

Date of Stay: October, 2008 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Gave this a 7 rating but it was border line. This park has fairly large sites and is a good park for one night if traveling through. I was very disappointed in the poor cable TV, (four or five channels of poor quality) and the poor Wi-Fi. I could see the Wi-Fi antenna from my site, but after spending 30 minutes on the phone with the Nomad tech we both gave up. My Wi-Fi worked fine at the next campground. I would only stay here if passing through. We camped at French Camp RV Park Resort & Golf Course in a Fifth Wheel.

Iron Horse RV Resort, Elko, Nevada

Date of Stay: September, 2008 - $46.00
Overall Rating:

This place at one time had great potential. It looks like it was fairly new (maybe 1-5 years) but lack of maintenance has turned it into a very shabby looking place. The pool is a joke - not much bigger than a couple of bath tubs put together. For the price we will not stay there again. We camped at Iron Horse RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Portal RV Resort and Campground, Moab, Utah

Date of Stay: September, 2008 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

The owners and staff are very very friendly folks. They are making big improvements to the park but have a long way to go. None of the parks in Moab are beautiful or outstanding but maybe with the improvements to this one someday they may achieve that. We camped at Portal RV Resort and Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Zion River Resort RV Park & Campground, Virgin, Utah

Date of Stay: September, 2008 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

This is a beautiful well run park. My only complaint is lack of cable or satellite tv. If you have your own satellite dish you are probably ok but as nice as the park is you would think they would take that extra step. While I inspected the bathroom and showers (very very nice and clean) I did not use. They do charge people to use the shower which at seems wrong if you are guest. I would stay there again. We camped at Zion River Resort RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Tight spots. In center of Town and somewhat noisy. Very expensive. I will not stay again even if it means skipping Jackson. We camped at The Virginian Lodge RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Hagerman RV Village, Hagerman, Idaho

Date of Stay: September, 2008 - $22.00
Overall Rating:

Nice clean, quiet place. Out in the country, but worth staying at if you are doing things in the area. We took a dinner cruise on the 1000 Springs Boat tours which was only 15 minutes away. Nice time all the way around. Friendly staff. Would stay there again. We camped at Hagerman RV Village in a Fifth Wheel.

Folks at the reservation desk not very competent. They messed up my dates and I did not get full hook ups. Asked me how to spell my name five times. Not just me, they made the guy next to me move because they put him somewhere and then they discovered they needed his site. Friday and Saturday nights the nearby hispanic dance hall plays loud music until 2 in the morning. I will stay some place else next time. We camped in a Fifth Wheel.

Ponderosa Campground, Cody, Wyoming

Date of Stay: September, 2008 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Great Campground. Previous reviews from others is very accurate. Great friendly staff who are very helpful in letting you know what is in town. Nice clean park. Near center of town, but don't worry the town gets very quiet at night. Will stay here again. We camped at Ponderosa Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
