Nice riverside park with limited amenities. Very quiet and distant from any traffic. Attendants friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay in this park when we return to this area. We camped at American Creek Campground in a Motorhome.

Canton/East Sparta KOA, East Sparta, Ohio

Overall Rating:

Well maintained park that is easy to navigate. Was just an overnight stop, so didn't have time to check out any local attractions. Access for even the largest rigs is not a problem. Friendly and knowledgable staff. Would stay here again. We camped at Canton/East Sparta KOA in a Motorhome.

Prairie Pines Campground, Rantoul, Illinois

Date of Stay: July, 2007 - $14.00
Overall Rating:

Excellent park on the grounds of the former Chanute AFB. Could use more signs a better direction to park, but that is the only complaint. One of the cleanest and quietest parks we have ever stayed at. When we go full time, I would definitely consider this park for long term parking. Great price in a beautiful park. We camped at Prairie Pines Campground in a Motorhome.

Mount Rushmore KOA, Hill City, South Dakota

Date of Stay: July, 2007 - $52.00
Overall Rating:

Pricy, but worth it. One of the best parks we have stayed in. Closest park to Mt Rushmore and Crazy Horse monuments. Very well maintained park, well stocked store, and on-site pizza and ice cream shops. Water sports, climbing, hiking and horse rides. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Not much shade available in main area, although tent, and pop-up sites were well shaded. Rental cars available so you can visit all the local sites without a toad. Busses available for Mt Rushmore tours at very reasonable rate. Will stay here again. We camped at Mount Rushmore KOA in a Motorhome.

Downstream COE, Fort Peck, Montana

Date of Stay: July, 2007 - $14.00
Overall Rating:

Excellent, well maintained state park. Lots are paved and level and roads are wide and easily navigated by 5th wheels and large motorhomes. Mature shade trees throughout park and at each site. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Would like to have had sewer and water, but for short stay was not necessary. Would definitely stay at this campground in the future. We camped at Downstream COE in a Motorhome.

Very nice. Lots of vegetation that could be cut back a little. Extremely friendly staff and well stocked store. Stayed in a 38' MH, and turns were a little tight and hard to avoid bushes. Site was level and park was well maintained. Although pricy, would stay here again. We camped at Great Falls KOA in a Motorhome.

Ellensburg KOA, Ellensburg, Washington

Date of Stay: July, 2007 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

Worst experience in our 30 day trip. Staff seemed friendly and park cleanup was continuous. However, owner needs some serious anger management classes. Came by one evening because the local police had just driven through the park. Started screaming at everyone is sight and accusing them of calling the police. Stated it was his @#$@ park and they had no place in it. Makes one wonder what he is trying to hide. As previous reviewer noted, the next day he started screaming about our dogs who were securely secured within the bounder of the lot and were not barking until he started cursing and screaming. Later he was stomping down the path hollowing about someone stealing his truck. While the park is convenient, I would not return as I am not sure that this is a safe environment. We camped at Ellensburg KOA in a Motorhome.
