This is a very clean and maintained 50 acre park on the beautiful crystal clear Nueces River. The managers, were very nice and saved our trip by repairing an air-condition problem. There are plenty of shade trees but not where the padded, full hookup, pull thru sites are. The park has 16 new log cabins with kitchens and baths. This is a great place for kids to ride bikes and plenty of room for groups to play baseball or football. The park has stickers and the river is rocky so besure to wear water or tennis shoes. Take your lawnchair, drinks, sunscreen and hats and enjoy sitting in the cool river. We hope to make a return trip. We camped at Big Oak River Camp in a Travel Trailer.
