Hay Creek Valley Campground, Red Wing, Minnesota

Date of Stay: September, 2007 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Our kids (9 and 4) enjoyed the pool and playground, but even they agreed that the bathrooms were too dirty! Garbage overflowed at the dumpster and other horse campers were not efficient at picking up their horses manure. They had availability on Labor day weekend ( the weekend we stayed there) which tells you that maybe this is not the most popular campground-for a reason! We camped at Hay Creek Valley Campground in a Tent Trailer.

Treasure Island RV Park, Welch, Minnesota

Date of Stay: August, 2007 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

Access to the casino and pool makes this a good deal if that's what you want. It doesn't make a great 'camping experience' though. It was noisy and desolate. The spots by the tree line would be nice-there you can have a fire and some shade and green grass. We camped at Treasure Island RV Park in a Tent Trailer.

Clean, great park, all spots have picnic table, tree and fire pit. Fire works at 4th of July are the best here! We camped at Dakotah Meadows RV Park in a Tent Trailer.
