We really like this RV park. We had 3 sites on the river and had a great trip. Unfortunately we found out when we arrived that this is our last time to be able to stay here because the 2012 season starts seasonal (4 months) or monthly rentals only (and no monthly sites are on the river! This information really put a damper on our stay.

This is a "nice" RV Resort. When I made our reservation I requested a "Premier" site which, of course, costs extra. I was told it was an ownership resort, the sites are owned by individuals and rented by the resort and that all the sites were wonderful. And they were..very well kept, very large, etc. But since "the computer" assigns the sites we got stuck with one that backed up to the highway. I asked if there wasn't one available elsewhere (at check in) and was told "the computer assigns the sites". There were plenty of sites open. The road noise was horrible...we couldn't hear the TV in the evening, even with the windows closed and the air conditioning on! We noted that the next unit that came in went to a very nice interior site...don't know if they owned it or were renting it and they too were in a 5th wheel. We left a day early mostly due to the awful road noise. Their bathrooms are inside the office building, so they couldn't be accessed unless the office was open. Laundry room was lousy. I would not recommend this place to anyone! We'd considered a monthly rental in January,2009, but I would be afraid of being stuck on the road for a month, and they will not let you move.

Great campground! Only reason I gave it an 8 was due to the fact that the laundry room looked like it had NOT been cleaned all summer!

Very nice place, but did not like the way sites were laid out. They have some "courtyard" sites and that would be great if you are with a group, but all patios face each other. We stayed in a river site,at our request. All we could see was the trees behind our RV and that was the only place there was trees, there was no shade. By the river they have special sites for motor homes where they pull in. Our site was a back in, so the two patios faced each other. WiFi was not available at the site. Would probaby go back if in the area, but don't want a river site.

We stayed in the "pull through" that wasn't really a pull through, but used the smaller concrete area as the place to park our truck. We had to back into the site and couldn't pull through due to a tree and not very wide concrete. Even though the water connection "box" and the sewer top was nasty, we really enjoyed the site. It was on a corner and faced away from the afternoon sun and afforded us privacy in that we weren't looking in someone else's RV or Motorhome. It was disappointing that the WiFi was not available at the site. We had to go to the laundry area to access it. When we made our reservations we were told that we could not request a certain site, but could request an area, i.e. riverview, pull-through, etc. We didn't want a pull-through but since there were only two sites available when we arrived, for the length of time that we wanted to stay, we took the "pull-through" and ended up really enjoying it! Great place.
