Camp Lakewood Campground & RV Park, Effingham, Illinois

Date of Stay: November, 2016 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

The cable TV doesn't work. The office is not open during the posted hours. The 'store' is not stocked. The wifi is dicey. The game room has been turned into a little meeting room. The original building/meeting area is now a bar with video gaming. This area is open to the general public. We've been coming here since 2004. It used to be a wonderful, family place place to stay. So sad to see all the changes. We camped at Camp Lakewood Campground & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Magnolia Farms RV Park, Foley, Alabama

Date of Stay: October, 2013 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

The sites are on grass; some have a concrete patio or a wood deck. The grounds are well kept and attractive. Shopping is about 15 minutes away. The managers are friendly and work hard to make it a great place to stay. We stayed here a month and would come again. We camped at Magnolia Farms RV Park in a Motorhome.

Nice park with easy access. The park was well kept and the sites were level and the Wi-Fi was good. Call ahead for reservations - there are several workers for a nearby major construction site staying there. We camped at Benchmark RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tom Sawyer's Mississippi River Park, West Memphis, Arkansas

Date of Stay: October, 2013 - $39.00
Overall Rating:

The roads to get to the park were in bad shape in places. Once inside the park, the roads were fine. It was nice to have a escort to the site. We enjoyed our site right on the river. We camped at Tom Sawyer's Mississippi River Park in a Motorhome.

Bowling Green KOA, Bowling Green, Kentucky

Date of Stay: June, 2009 - $41.00
Overall Rating:

This park has new owners. They are working on better WIFI, cable, and water pressure. They do not guide you in to your site! The price does not reflect the lack of these utilities, even when they admit the things need work! We camped at Bowling Green KOA in a Motorhome.

Camelot RV Campground, Poplar Bluff, Missouri

Date of Stay: June, 2009 - $26.00
Overall Rating:

This is a beautiful park, but, they don't take credit cards and they don't take checks. Cash only! Does that tell you something? The biggest negative is the attitude about dogs! On a seperate paper, they want you to carry the dog to the dog area. If the dog is large and you can't carry it, you are supposed to drag it along til you get to the pet area! They do not like pets! We camped at Camelot RV Campground in a Motorhome.

Driftwood Campgrounds, Quincy, Illinois

Date of Stay: September, 2008 - $26.00
Overall Rating:

We have stayed here several times over the past three years and every time we come here, the park is in more need of repair! The security lights are all out! Its verrrry dark out there! The managers set the example on picking up after their dog- they don't! The owner is also in the home repair business and fills the only dumpster with scrapes from his jobs. The electric boxes are in need of repair and often don't work. The park could be a nice place to visit Quincy area. We camped at Driftwood Campgrounds in a Motorhome.

We have been here more than once and always enjoy our stay. The new owners are providing the same quality service and amenities that we had enjoyed on previous visits. Host went the extra mile to solve a Wi-Fi problem for us. The park is quiet and has a great view of Lake Pauline. We camped at Camp Lakewood Campground & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Lakeshore RV Park, Ortonville, Minnesota

Date of Stay: August, 2007 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

This is a great family park. In addition to the basics, there are a lot of other activities such as Mini-Golf, arcade games, boating, fishing and bumper boats. The owners pride themselves on their customer service and will go out of their way to help, e.g., putting your boat in the water. The sites along the lake are nicely shaded. We camped at Lakeshore RV Park in a Motorhome.
